Received a call and they left a message indicating that they are a location service and that papers will be served to my home or place of employment but never mentioned me specifically by name. The message also stated to call 844-755-0440 to confirm receipt after the call. They stated I have 1 day to close the business matter.

I just got this number a few weeks back - apparently whoever had it must not have paid all the bills

This number has called 3 times in the last two days.  They do not leave a message.  Thing is, if this is a collection agency they have the wrong number as I am not behind on anything.  I have a common last name so can only assume that they have the wrong person.  I've had to straighten stuff like this out before and hope that's not the case this time.

Bay area collection services. Auto dialer you pick up and it hangs up. Called number back got the name of the business and posting it to let ya know who it is. Bottom feeder collections I am sure. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from this number and the uneducated joker's name is Investigator Don Mack and his pseudo business is County Arbritrators.  The state of Louisiana has parishes, not counties.  Anyway, the investigator gave me his fake badge number, but knew Smyrna social security number, the make and year of my car, and named two of my siblings.  Furthermore, he said I was going to get papers served and for my lawyer to call him.  Suffice it to say, I called the sheriff's office and they did not have any papers to serve.  I called Don Mack back and told him to send the papers on the alleged debt via mail and informed him to kiss my a**!

Losers I am so glad they have these places to report these idiots!! Scammers are horrible. Get a job I know they must be mad how many numbers they have to keep changing LOL!! They lose so much money to change phone numbers!! Just because of sites like this keeps people on their toes. Love it. Get these idiots and constantly report these losers!!

I recieved several calls from this number looking for someone by a different name.  I informed them that I have had my number for about 10 years and there was nobody by that name in my household.  They were very kind and said I would be removed from the calling list within 24 hours and I have not recieved another call (knock on wood!)  So, I suggest answering and kindly asking them to stop calling.  :)

I  got a call from this number, which is local to me, asking if I was *name* to press 1 or if not *name* to press 2, and said I could call 1-800-824-6191 to speak to a representative. This is a debt collector FNCB out of Nevada, apparently one of the Bottom Feeder collection agencies... Chalk another up for the block list!

You are exactly right on all your comments.  Keep calling me on something I already paid off even.  I think they are also trying to play on people's fears that "maybe I didn't pay this" or "maybe I still owe this".  Not gonna happen !!!!

These people are truly 'bottom feeders' as one person said.  When I talked with them I quickly found out what they were up to.  These people are credit care collection reps that are trying to get you to pay on cards that have gone pass the "statue of limitations". That means you don't have to pay that amount at anymore on that card, but it doesn't mean you don't owe the money, but they can't force you to pay that old balance.    
But if you give them only one-dollar toward your old card you will be hooked to paying on that card or even worse.   Be very careful with these people.  I was stupid enough to give my SSC to find out what they wanted and I will probably regret it some day; but at least I know now what they are after---your money. Don't do what I did.  
It's just best to block them on your cell or just delete them when they call. They can hurt you if you give them too much info.

They too have started to call me at 6am!!!!  I told them they were braking the law I am in CA not New Orleans even though my cell number has a 504 area code.  I had my lawer (my sister) call them.  It stopped.

These people keep calling me several times a day and leaving blank voicemail messages. i've texted them and told them to stop since i get wrong numbers every once and a while, and they won't quit calling ALL the time!

Recieve call from this 225-341-1101 don't want to answer call from those callers with caller ID block. I have a very common first and last name and have had to fight with other companies about accounts with my full name. I research my name and in my city along there are approxiately 100 people or more with my same name.  I had to write an affidavit two year ago to clear my name, was being sued in court: right name but wrong person.  Guys be careful when you take calls from these collectors they just want the bill paid.
