I received a call from this number as well. They left a message. I tried to return the call and it just continued to ring.  I received the same message as those listed above. That I need to contact my attorney or they will be calling the police on me.  This is the second call that I received of this nature.

they stated they were calling from a lawyer office of jack and williams legal associates called me and after talking with 3 people who can not speak English well and told me that I was going to be arrested tomorrow for 30 days and would have to pay $10000.00 to get out. He told me I would have to go get cash out and go to walmart and get the green dot money pak and that he would stay on the phone with me while I drove to the bank got the cash then go to walmart and buy the pak. I told him that I would loose service while driving and he said he would call me back. this is CRAZY..they are rude and scared the S*** out of me. I am SO GLAD I did research before I went and did all this...

I received a call from them today and they called my work.  When I called them back they began to tell me that I would be arrested.  I told them that I did not know what they were talking about and I would appreciate it if they did not call me back.  She said so you want me to go ahead and serve the warrant and I said that I was going to call my local sherriff's department and she said go ahead and do that.  Very rude!

These Mf keep calling me and my job! !! How can I stop it? How did they get my information

You know. Im a real idiot for not checking first, but I fell for this scam. What was scary enough, they knew my ssn and where I worked. I lost money and I am in a incredibly tight spot for cash. I feel so burned.

I received a call today from 225-349-7975 and the guy name was Dave Forster. He told me that I had a lawsuit that was file against me, I asked him who was the lawsuit with and he was like I will transfer you then he hung up. Dave Foster called back and stated that I owed money over 2,500 for 2 pay day loans for which I have never done. I told him to stop calling my phone and that I know that this a scam and hung up. DO NOT BELIEVE THESES PEOPLE IT'S A BIG A** SCAM!

guy named adam wood called stating i had outstanding payday loan.  i was goin to be arrested if i didnt  pay $$810 it was gonna jump to $8000

Had the same call and said that the federal Marshall was going to arrest me within 24 hours, I think he got mad when I told him I would not talk to him until he learned how to speak English.

I received numerous calls from number. Guy with a thick Indian accent named Adam Green stated that it was an urgent matter and to not disregard message. He said if I did not call back immediately, he wished me good luck on what would happen to me. It is a real shame that there are people that try to scare peeps into giving them money..total scammers!! Reporting number to police and blocking this number.

this same number has been calling me and then my fiance called back and they told him i had a lean and i was going to be arrested tomorro morning

got a call at work from a man that called himself john connor and said that i owed 200 for an app fee that i now owe us cash and they are calling the cops on me to arrest me. when i called the number back after work i spoke with a woman this time (all of which has VERY strong accents) the lady refused to give me the name to the supposed law firm thy are and then consistantly hung up on me. nothing buy a scam. i called us cash and confirmed that its a bunch of bs and to file a complaint at www.ic3.gov but i am still going to call lousiana police (seems thats where their opperations is and file a complaint with them also. i reccommend anyone do this so maybe we can slowly rid out all these illlegals and stop these stupid phone call.

I was told I had a lawsuit pending against me due to outstanding payday loans and that the locate police would pick me up.... I told them that it was wired because I am a locate police and if they wanted me or if they had a warrant out for my arrest they would have taken me off the job

My wife got this call from 225-349-7975. My wife and I don't know how these people are getting her information, but we have been battling this now for about 6 months! I contact my local PD each time and each time, it's the same damn answer, "not much we can do"  Their has to be Something that can be done! I have called these idiots and frankly I thought I forgot how to curse that well. I tried calling the cellphone network providers telling them that their users are making scam calls and threatening people, and they also "not much we can do" Tips, advice?

Jason G just called me.  Left a threatening message on my voice mail regarding a past employee.  I guess he didn't pay attention to my name on my voice mail as he kept referring as if it were emp xzy.
It was so threatening that I recorded it with my phone and saved the message.  Oh, he cursed my front desk girl before she transferred him to my voice mail.  
When I called him back he pretended it wasn't him.  He would have Jason call me back.  See, if they call you it's not recorded.  If you call them, the call is recorded.  
So after he hung up on me, I called him back.  
Maybe we should all turn our messages over to 20/20 or Chris Hanson HA!

I received FIVE calls back to back on my cell phone, and then another SIX calls on my JOB phone. NOT COOL. I never pickup calls from numbers I don't recognize. I immediately go to Google or Bing and perform a search to see if the number is truly legitimate, or if it's just another company or person trying to harrass and scam people. I called this number back and they answered the phone as some type of law firm. I told them to NEVER call my number again because I had already investigated the number and saw that it was nothing more than a SCAM. They are trying to steal financial information and get you to send them money. This guy started to get upset and curse at me. I told him that I was well aware of what a lowlife he was and that he wasn't going to be able to get me to fall for his fraudulent information or his intimidation tactics. I recorded the conversation. The scumbag immediately hunup once I informed him that he was was being recorded. My brother works in the DA's office and I emailed him a copy of the recorded call, The numbers are now blocked on all of my phones. This is disgusting. The Dept. of Homeland Security or FBI should step in and do something about these lowlife predators.

I GOT MY LAWYER TO CALL AND THEY INDIAN MAN WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE HIM HIS NAME!!! MADE ME SOUND LIKE I ACCEPTED A PAYDAY LOAN AND THAT THE POLICE WAS GONNA PICK ME UP AT MY HOUSE IN THE MORNING AND I WOULD BE CHARGED 8,000 DOLLARS!

I just got that same call  from some idiot say that he was gonna arrest me tomorrow and put my kids in foster care I called him a jack a** and hung up on him they are a bunch of idots and then I blocked the number.

These guys are calling mycell and work phone. Told me the same thing. I called back and they answer, "Attorney's Office". I told him they were not attorneys and needed to stop calling me. He told me I need to stop calling them. Idiots. This is nothing but a SCAM!!!  I am so tired of some of the immigrants coming to the USA and scamming Americans by threatening them like this!!!

Steven foster call me said I be arrested in 48 hrs I told him OK that my husband would be home to arrest me since he a police officer and that he best not call me again because state attorney was recording this message

Got a call from this number 225-349-7975 claiming that I owe money to some payday place called Cash America, USA.   I was told that I was committing fraud by taking this money and never paying it back in addition to being arrested at my home.  Why wait until I get home to make an arrest?  Why not at work?  When I asked for the account number associated with this BS claim; I was told that," we are a law firm and we do not have your account number."  What! I told him to send me papers and it will be dealt with then and I hung up my phone.

These fools call everyday trying to make you believe that they are an extension of the law but in reality, they are a bunch of criminals who need to be placed in front of a firing squad and SHOT!

Don't answer to these scammers.  That is all it is.  They are NOT a law office or a real debt collector.  Block the number or whatever you have to do.   Call the police.    They CANNOT arrest you and it is against the law to state that.  It's just a cheap cell phone they use to call as many folks as possible.  SCAMMERS!!!!!

Well, they not only call my house, and got my husband upset, but they call my job as well. So when I spoke to them at work I stated that I would call them back when I got off. Got home, and called them, got into a huge argument with the guy, not only could he not give me a date on when the loan took place, but he couldn't give me the number to the loan place that I had supposedly received the loan from. So by the end of the first convo, I ended it with, if I was to get arrested or they called me again, I was going to sue their a$$es and they were going to pay me the $810 that I supposedly owed them, plus more. By the end of the night, I had called them back about 10 times, and received a busy signal after about the fifth attempt. It was funny.

Received a 2nd call tonight after having back surgery today stating that he needed to speak to my attorney and that criminal charges were being filed against me for check fraud and giving an untrue social security number.  I asked several times what this was for and who was filing.  He told me he was from an attorneys office and that he would read the affidavit to me but had to "not interrupt" him.  I asked again for information about who was filing and he once again told me to not interrupt him.  When I told him that he could not talk to me that way, he continued to be rude.  When I started yelling at him, he said, "have a nice day"  and I responded, "yeah, F---- you too and hung up the phone.  I was really worried about this whole phone call so I did a reverse phone lookup and found this site.  Very relieved to know this was a scam because I had done nothing wrong or fraudulent.

This same man called and threatened me.  No reason given just that I would be arrested and he wished me luck.

They don't stop calling and claiming I will be arrested and that I needed to be transfered to his paralegal dept.  This is total BS.   The man that calls has a very thick indian accent too.   I told him that he may be able to send the police to get innocent people arrested in his country but in this one, things don't work like that.   Then he hung up.

Any calls from this number 225-349-7975 are a scam. Don't fall for it people!!!
