It's a telemarking call. The phone number is spoofed. I have been getting the same calls with computer voice saying "goodbye". Today I answered and got a woman trying to sell me an alarm system. Fat chance! I own my own alarm installation company. The company she was trying to sell for is scam can't with lots of complaints nationwide.

At least 5 calls a week, looking at caller ID and not picking up, stops after 4 rings.

Received a call from this number (228-233-3215) at 10:24am today (10/29/2012) and caller ID says (out of area). I answered the phone because it's within my area code and no way to tell if it was an important call or now. It was quite on the other end for several seconds, perhaps 20 or so) then a lady's voice (sounded like it was a recording) said "Good Bye". It may be a scam test to see if and or when someone is home to answer the phone and pass this info on for other spammers/telemarketers to call. Nope, the Do Not Call list is not completely working. You know that with today's technology, our Government could stop these harassing phone calls, they can these things when they want it done.

This number 2282333215 keeps calling and no one answers. Whoever owns this landline has had this number since 2001.

Caller ID indicates Unknown Name 228-233-3215 and never says anything and no recording. When I immediately call the number back it just rings with no recorded message and no one ever answers. They have called several times in the last week.

Got the call at a different time today - 12:00 Noon. Answered phone. No one said anything, then hung up on me. When I called the number back, it was busy, of course. This is harassment. Reporting it to higher authorities immediately.
