They called again 2 days in a row and don't answer.....Their phone number has recording 'not in service'. Credit Card Services Scammers looking for easy prey to take your credit card numbers and your money$$$.. Beware! Wish I can wipe these scammers off this planet........... The Scammers are pretty slick and buy and sell your phone numbers. They start a new company with new bogus numbers to keep ahead of the FEDs that have caught some of these scammers......

The value was in keeping a fraudster on the line for 22 minutes, rendering him unable to rip-off a gullible person.

Yeah except some of us have a life which we prefer to be doing worthwhile things. Pranks are all well and good but really most of us just want to get on with our lives in peace with the people and things that matter, not wasting our time pissing off telesales people.

THE BAD NEWS: Card Services calls aren't going to stop anytime soon.
THE GOOD NEWS: You can retaliate, reduce the misery, and even have some fun.
RETALIATE:
Waste these turkeys' time. Keep them on the line by acting like an interested prospect. Give them bogus data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers, scrambled Social Security digits, and a modified ZIP Code. Important: provide a credit card company's real 800 number.
After they call the credit card company, you can give them the same credit card info as before with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to make a second verification call. Or you can respond, "Guess what ... H-O-O-N-N-K-K [from a $6 air horn] you've been PRANKED! Call back tomorrow for more bullshot." Now they're the butt of your joke.
REDUCE THE MISERY:
Landlines. Enroll for the free service at nomorobo.com. Simultaneous ringing, a free feature many providers offer, enables nomorobo to receive, answer and, after one ring, automatically hang up on nuisance telephone numbers.
Cell phones. Block the number, an option that becomes available on the iPhone if you click on the "i" on the right in the list of recent calls and scroll to the bottom. Unfortunately, Card Services will keep calling from new spoofed numbers, which eventually should motivate you to retaliate.
HAVE FUN:
Turning the tables on the perpetrators with mischievous deception and the news they've been duped provides instantaneous vigilante satisfaction. Plus you serve your fellow call recipients by slowing down this evil operation's efforts to defraud them.

I was commuting this morning when these idiots called. I had the time so I kept the guy on the line for 22 minutes giving bogus information. He eventually caught on and had a string of foul words directed at me. I asked if he would please call back tomorrow so we could do it again? I know it was of no value but I felt better.

Can't call back??? Number out of order?
Gunnar 2014-03-25 21:05:15 Unknown
We're glad to hear about that "Steve". Now we can all call the legitimate number on the back of our cards & inquire about those regulations. We sure as hell aren't going to call you. Or listen to you. The people that find their way here learn quickly that if some minimum-wage loser calls with some line of BS, that caller is nothing but a scamming cubicle-clown.
It must really suck being you!
Skeff Ett Liv!

Due to changes in the regulations we can now offer you a lower credit card rate.
Erin 2014-03-25 20:42:00 Telemarketer
Credit card scam, and yes its a scam because they want to lower my rates on a credit card, when I don't have credit cards.......Thank you DAVE RAMSEY!!!

Faggats. They need to die.
Gina S 2014-03-25 20:00:42 Telemarketer
We don't even have a single credit card and this recording calls from all different numbers once a day saying they can lower my rate. When I go to tell the person I don't have any credit cards they ALWAYS hang up on me. Frustrating!

Lower your interest rate scam.
jonesnco 2014-03-22 20:25:52 Unknown
The DNC list doesn't help because the caller is spoofing Caller ID and the number you are reporting is likely not even assigned to anyone. The only way these jack***es will be caught is through a sting operation.
Too many calls! 2014-03-22 18:32:29 Unknown
They called me twice this morning. I didn't answer and will block now.
St Paul MN is Sick of Scammers 2014-03-22 18:31:26 Unknown
got robocall on my Cell from 229-368-9671 caller ID said "NO NAME" on Saturday 03-22-14 @ 933 AM.
Dang friggin Rachel from Card Member services. I just let her talk and the message ended and the call disconnected.
I then added the number to my Block list
Irritated 2014-03-22 15:25:51 Unknown
didn't answer as I investigated the number as phone was ringing - added to blacklist on my cell phone. At least that's an ap that appears to block the numbers from ringing through. The blocked number thing on the phone does NOT work. Annoying to get so many call. DoNoCall.gov is worthless.
Cell Phone Owner 2014-03-22 14:51:01 Telemarketer
This number called my cell phone and is using my precious cell phone minutes on a Saturday morning. When I call the number back, I get a message that the number is out of service, so it must be a auto-dial outgoing number anyway, by some crooks trying to get money from me.

Been nice to not have these scammers call for the last 2 weeks. But today they started again. Rachel from card services. Wish these f****rs would go away!
