Message left said they were calling "on behalf of" the University of New Hampshire....conducting the National Study of Child and Youth Safety. This call came in after 8:30PM on a Sunday night. They gave me a study ID number and a different number to call back - which I have no intention of doing. They indicated they'd call again if I didn't respond. This number will be blocked. I live nowhere near the state of NH and have no interest in participating in some study.

Ray 2011-06-06 20:44:03 Unknown
me too. they are fiercely annoying, calling almost everyday. are they con men ?
Francesca 2011-06-06 20:44:03 Unknown
Caller Id displayed 239 and nothing else. I answered it perplexed the guy asked me if my name was so and so. I said yes and then he hung up on me. I tried calling back but since I only had 239 I got an error message " Your call could not be completed as dial please check your number and dial again". This was Sunday morning. Now he keeps calling me but I don't answer. Nothing is wrong with my phone display. What is this 239 number and what happened to the rest of the number being displayed?

RSBI is a legitimate research company. They do not sell anything and do ask questions for various
companies that hire them to do research throughout the USA. If you do not want them to call you back Tell them to NEVER CALL YOU Again. Be Firm. Also you can ask to speak to a Supervisor and tell them TO NEVER CALL YOU AGAIN. Your numbers are picked randomly through a computer and if they call a cell phone they will compensate you for your minutes. ( they never ask personal questions such as name, address, or definite age, only categories) . Once the survey is complete your phone number is scrambled from the answers and cannot be traced. If you hang up on them you do go to a call back system usually two to three days and yes they work on Sundays. They are persistent as a lot of surveys
are political and actually the surveys do help statistics. Why not voice your opinion? It sure beats pushy phone solicitors ......

will you people realize that do not call lists to not apply to people not selling anything.

They have called my cell phone numerous times with out leaving a message - on a Sunday to boot! I never answered. I just decided to look online for the number and I found the company Schulman Ronca & Bucuvalas. They are a marketing research company. I have sinced blocked the number and hope it works. I too thought I registered with the no call list, but will have to again.

They've been cold calling my work cell phone for the past few days. Sounds like a phone scam.

Got a call saying they are from social security and they are doing a survey on people who recently visited a social security office. They started asking for some sensitive information so i just told them to call me again at a later time and i have been doing the same since.

Three phone calls so far this week. They claim to be from CDC-SRBI. I keep asking them to leave me alone since I work midnight shift. Anyone have any idea how I can press some kind of legal harassment charges against them?
oh well 2011-06-06 20:44:03 Unknown
give me a break, these people are just trying to help
Matt 2011-06-06 20:44:03 Unknown
Abt SRBI is the market research company. Located in fort Myers. I didn't answer either. Scary since my older parents live in that area code thought they were a hospital calling.

If they call just repeat their name to them and say - "Bill (whatever their name is) remove me from your calling list and DO NOT CALL here, consider this a hard refusal"

do not call list to not apply to people not selling products
NN 2009-05-13 01:19:38 Unknown
the man also insulted me by calling me a selfish person when I refuse to take the survey.
Pat 2009-01-24 01:40:59 Unknown
3rd time they've called this week. spoke with someone who claimed to be a supervisor (barbara ashcroft); said she was with the Department of Health - SRBI. They were supposedly conducting a survey. Each time they've called I asked to be removed from their calling list.

Calling on my personal cell which is also registered on the do-not-call list, but they simply don't care and call anyway.

Thanks for the info! They called me on my cell, which i have a strong dislike of! And when I tried to call them back, it hangs up!
Natalie 2008-10-29 00:24:57 Unknown
I thought it was a scam. The caller said I'd get $10 to answer 8-10 minutes of questions. I don't know how they even have my number.

I got a few calls from this number and ignored most of them. Then I answered, took a survey and they are sending me a check for taking the time to answer their questions.

Calling my cell 5 times a day and would like them to stop
Tired of the unwanted calls. 2008-07-17 02:40:06 Survey
I read the info here and I also called the number then pressed 0 and the operator took my number off of the list also.
The operator was nice, however the man who called me insulted me by saying. "So you are not interested in helping anyone in California? Hum"
Thanks for the info.
faithsilver 2008-06-16 23:00:06 Unknown
I've called the number, pressed '0' for the Operator and it was answered by a representative pretty quickly. I requested to remove my cell phone number off of their list and the rep did so immediately. I inquired about how they got my number and they said that their system randomly selects phone numbers for interviewers to call up. The rep was nice and quickly resolved the issue.
Hopefully, I won't receive any future calls from them.
