Lindsay if you are with AT&T they do offer a Smart Limits feature that you can add to your account for $5 a month. This feature allows you to block incoming and outgoing calls to this number or any other number you enter to block. You can have up to 15 numbers blocked at one time. I am not familar with the other carriers if they have a feature like this if you are not with AT&T but its something you can look into.

I have asked these people to remove my number three solid times now and they still continue to call and try to sell me some product. Its a telemarketing scam and it appears as a bill collector and I want it to STOP.

as of 1-12-09 I have started getting tellamarketing calls on my cell phone. Thanks AT&T you f****ng suck!! got the call at 9pm it woke my kid up WTF!

My GF received a call at 9pm from this number, and the woman (possible Indian accent) wanted to talk about her mortgage. This was one day after she made a querie to her mortgage company. Too coincedental, I think. My GF hung up after about a minute.

I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message... I blocked my number and called back, got a recording. It gives you the option to press 1 and be removed from their list... which sometimes will actually prompt them to add you to even more lists, so I hung up. Oh and the number is a landline in MD.
