One and two ring calls from Caribbean Country's (Montserrat, Dominica,Jamaica, Grenada,  Antiqua and Barbados, Saint Lucia, Anguilla ..) should not be called back! These calls are done so you will call them back and cram your phone bill with high Call costs:

It's an phone scam. Check your phone bill because if you call it back it charges your phone bill an extra $30. There's an article going around about it. Please don't answer or call it back!

Make sure you check your bill... you're going to be charged for an international call plus time...

It's a scam... Most of these calls are coming from the Caribbean.  You will be charged $19.99 for an international call PLUS an additional charge of $0.99 per minute..

I got a call from this number at 3am in the morning. I called it back and not going through. I like to know who's number it is please.

We did too along with almost the whole HS in our area

you better keep an eye on your bill. I saw in the news about a # that calls , rings once & when you call back they charge your bill all this money ,
news report said something about hearing screaming in the background . I got the same call

I have Verizon
call came in at 4 am today ....I got a call from another number week ago from out of the country & a few text messages coming in with @ like you would with an email address instead of a phone #
I'm starting to think Verizon is selling  our phone numbers to spammers .Thankfully I have unlimited texting or I would be more mad about it then I already am  

Same thing happened to me. Called my cell phone then 2 minutes later called my husbands cell. called the number back and sounded like a small asian child screaming and jibbering.

Called me at 4:30am rediculous. Someone must have gotten their hands on a block of cell numbers

When I call back it just says nonworking number. Its an operator recording. Yes maybe Verizon should look into it. I'm going to call them

Received a call from this number in Dec.called it back thinking it was one of my children and that they changed there phone number. Girl laughing and talking in different language.  Received a call from this number 2 hours ago. Look it up and it was this number.

My and My fiance both got called this morning at 3:15 and 3:17 AM REALLY!

This is likely one of those International calls that if you call back you will be charged very high fees.  Do not call any of these numbers back!!  They are running rampant!!!!

my wife and I both received a call at 4:30 AM from the same number .  Must be a bug in Verizon system since we all received these calls

Came in 4:15 am this morning, 1/28/14 on my cell -- rang once.  Checked the number quickly and no match but told me it was an exchange for Barbados. Five minutes later same number and one ring on my wife's cell.  Just now I spoke with my mother who also received the same call at 3:30am this morning... She called back and said it sounded like answering service but she could not understand them but referenced something about a contest.

Two phones on AT&T and one on Verizon -- very odd.

received this call about 430 am. do not know it.apparently others have received it also. coworker got the same call at 330 this morning as did her husband.

yes my wife and myself both received a call early this morning approximately around 3 a.m. this is quite strange seems to me that somebody has a lot of information about Verizon's telephone numbers I think they should investigate they might possibly have more information on customers

I received a call on my cell from 246-859-9010 at 3:40 this morning. One ring. I called it back from my office phone this morning and received a intercept message that they are unable to complete my call.
The strange thing is that my wife also received a call from the same number at 2:30 am.
I'm not sure what is going on, but I wouldn't call it back from a cell phone. BTW, I don't shop at Foot Locker either.

Yea I got a call from this number at 3:38 am last night. I turn my ringer off when I sleep. That's strange so many people got the call.

I got a call from this number at 530am in messwge left. Very upset  I thought it was my mother in law and she needed help so I jumped right out of bed.

One ring,hang up,no message. I will not answer unknown numbers.
