Most probably a collector I have plenty of them calling me.  They disconnect before it goes to the voicemail.  They dont leave a message and their caller ID space does not include the name.  They obviously want you to call the number back.  Collectors do this, telemarketers dont....joy.....

This number just started appearing on my CID so I call it back and it always says, "Sorry all circuits are busy at this time, try again later."  Whoever you are, stop calling!  You are a phony!

I will talk to the State Attorney General and I will have a trap put on my  phone by Qwest to catch them and report this as harrassment punishable by a fine and jail time.

Been getting calls repeatedly over the last 2 months from this number. No message. When I answered the call, The woman claimed to be from the "Metro Area Animal Rescue" and wanted to send me a donation packet. When I asked to be taken off the list, she disconnected the call, but the calls haven't stopped coming. This number is a telemarketer in Madison Heights who charges for fundraising. I went to the fcc website and reported it as a "War Dialed" call since they haven't stopped.

This is a scam- I pledged, got guilted into it.  "You have up to 30 days to send us $10 for kids who may have less than 6 months to live".  I couldn't say no to that... but perhaps should have.  The "Kids Wish Foundation" is NOT the "Make a Wish Foundation".  I got a confirmation call about the pledge and I asked what the difference was betweeen this foundation and the Make a Wish Foundation and the woman IMMEDIATLEY HUNG UP THE PHONE, thus confirming to me that this is a scam.
Original phone # said Michigan and was 248 581 7970.
Follow-up call was 877 279 7591.

This call came from Michigan to Kansas land line at 11:58 hours CDT on 8-4-2010. Call not answered and no message left.

Just got a call from this number. The guy said he was calling on behalf of the VFW.

The charity they are calling on behalf of seems to be changing.

I have received calls from this number numerous times. Each time there seems to be no one on the line. Nothing on caller ID except the number. Just filled out a complaint at do not call center. Calls are annoying.

This appears to be an unknown telemarketing agency calling on behalf of "Kids Wish Network".

They called again tonight, but using 248-581-7969 instead of 7970.  The caller ID just said "MICHIGAN", just like the 7970 number.  Checking my caller ID logs, I noticed that some of the earlier calls were from the 7969 number.

I answered and definitely caught the name this time.  The telemarketer said that she was calling on behalf of the "Kids Wish Network".  I am guessing from her wording ("calling on behalf of"), the inability to call them back, and their skill at thwarting requests to be put on their "do not call list", that her company is most likely a professional telemarketing agency that is taking a big chunk of each contribution.

This time around I said "please put me on your do not call list" immediately in response to her "how are you doing?" query.  She just hung up without saying anything, but I know she heard me.

I've been repeatedly called by them, and they never leave a message.  Tonight I answered, and the person on the other end mentioned a charity ("Children's wish foundation", I think), then asked how I was doing.  I started saying "actually, I'm really busy" and was just about to ask to be put on their no-call list when she hung up on me.  When I try calling back, I get either a busy signal or a message saying that all circuits are busy.  I can never get through.

Next time I'll just say "put me on your do not call list" before saying anything else, but who knows if they will actually comply.  I'm sure that the operator I spoke with tonight knew what I was about to say next, but she hung up before I could say it.

It is really annoying that charities are exempt from the big "do not call" list, and its even more annoying when they make it hard or impossible to be added to their individual do-not-call lists.  I made the mistake of donating to one once, and now I'm on some kind of master list and I get pestered constantly!  I will never make that mistake again!

No name on caller id only "Michigan". Did not answer and not message left on my answering machine.

Repeated calls, no message.  Wouldn't be so irritating except I've been sick for the last four days.  And they won't identify themselves to my machine!

248-581-7970/7971.  I don't believe this is Make-A-Wish Foundation.  The name is similar - something like Kids Wish....  I believe it's actually a 2nd party fund raising org with a very high overhead.  They've been calling me for weeks and never left a msg.  I finally answered their call and told them I'm not interested and please add me to their do-not-call-again list.  They immediately hung up.

Get a call from this # 248-581-7970 at leat 2 to 3 times a day, then try to call them back and all you hear is all circuits are busy please try again later! What the F%&*^# is going on!!!!
