By the way everyone that pressed 2 might want to check with their cell phones to see that this company didn't sneakily add anything onto their monthly bill- some service of any kind.

I got this call too, but luckily I missed the call. A couple weeks ago I got s similar scam- a text from a 5 digit phone number saying I had won a free gift card to Target. You just had to give them your credit card info for shipping and handling. So they could be possibly related. This has all started happening since I switched & transferred my service provider over from Sprint to AT&T. I'm sick of this crap LOL. What I'm interested to know is what cell phone providers everyone has? How long have you been with them?

I'm from CT too & got the call from this number as well,but I didn't pick up and I didn't call back either.

Received call yesterday while in Boston (traveling)...My number is a Conn. cell phone...
Was a prerecorded message and seemed to be a financial scam call of some kind...
"Press 2 if you do want these calls and we will remove your number from our call list'...
Did not listen to rest of message -- and just pressed 2 ...
My cell has been entered on the 'do-not-call' registry since at least May of last year (2009)...
Totally obnoxious. Am really, um, 'annoyed off' about this...

This is the owner of the phone. Somehow our phone number has been put out there. We have been receiving multiple calls per minute since 11:00am (info from our phone service provider). We would appreciate it if the calls to our home are stopped.

I got a call from this number. Called the number back and a lady said she could not come to the phone.

Got the call, heard the intel theme a couple of times, no one was there. I'm in CT at 860 area code.

Yeah, same thing. Just Intel music repeats. Texas. Someone's auto dialer is racking up one heck of a long distance bill.

I just got the same call from 250-655-8809 let the intel sound go off twice and then hung up....how weird.  I'm in the SF Bay area

Just got a call, same music, three times.  Did not call back.  I am in San Francisco Bay Area

Just got a call from here, too and didn't pick up.  Yesterday I got 3 calls from a Illinois / USA number:  312-640-2552.  No messages left for any of the 4 calls.  Not sure why all of a sudden I'm getting all these scammy calls.

Just received a call, too. Answered and all I heard were phone chimes for 20 seconds before it disconnected. I put my number on a no call list, so why am I getting these?

Just got the same thing; intel promo piece. I hung up before it cycled thru more than once. I'm in southern NV and the number called is on the Do-Not-Call list, and has been since the list started!
