My phone has been cloned and hacked, some information has traced back to Mobile AL and I was talking to Tech Support with Verizon and my call got cut off and I called this # back and it's a mans English voice that says "enter a code" ?
Does any other person have issues of something similar ?

This is a legitimate Verizon number. They called me on my cell (while I was talking to one of their agents) then on my land line. I didn't answer either call and about 5 mins after I hung up with the agent I got a call from(949) 286 3973 Irvine CA. I answered and it was Verizon wanting to do a customer satisfaction survey.

Very suspicious.  Do NOT give info to ANYONE who calls you.  Mobile Al is not going to call you to authorize something on your account.  And notice all the posts saying it is legit all name the other 'legit' posts by name?  This is obviously a scam.  Hang up and dial *611.  This is guaranteed to get you through to your wireless carrier to resolve any issues.

I was working with Verizon to find out why my cell service was not working (tower issues) and was asked the most ridiculous questions-  Is your phone on?  Ahh Duhhh sorry to bother you- seriously?  lol anyway it only got worse from there so in disgust I hung up.  Approximately 5 minutes later this number called my home phone.  I did not want to deal with it, assumed it was Verizon calling back because I hung up on them so I hit answer on my fax machine...  no way to leave me a message.   Then I looked up the number and it seems to be affiliated with Verizon but certainly not the department I was working with, two different locations.
As for changing numbers inbound they are on a trunk line-  huge collection of lines with assigned numbers  the idea is to have the in or out bound calls grab the next available line in that bank rather then just hundreds of unconnected (from each other) lines that you have to switch from one to the other manually.  Keeps things rolling.
Lastly dont enter any codes or passwords on to a phone.  Especially digital.   Caller ID tags can say most anything   exercise caution

This is a legitimate customer service number from Verizon. I just received a call from this number while my wife was in a store trying to activate her new vzw iPhone. They called me to verify/authorize. They gave me her name and the model of the phone she was trying to activate, which I knew in advance, but it convinced me they were who they said they were.

It is Verizon Wireless...although it does not say Verizon on the caller ID. They left me a voice message. One of the persons on my account wanted to make changes on their line and only I am authorized to do so ...Steven and Richard (above) are correct.

This is legit, it's just confirming the passcode for your Verizon account, when someone other than the account holder is making changes to your account.

i placed call to verizon asked them to call me back they couldnt do that then 3 seconds "they" called me  today i noticed voicemail from verizon with totally different number  this number went to one of the many numbers jessica has used to txt me in the past.  well how about that?  im giving her my pc and phone but she has to pick it up and face me when she does. thats all no speach necessary.  she can bring mom with her but she has to come soon as i have a serious illness? that is causing me to pass very soon.  thats all i can tell hou just had to get a little of it out. thanks  but the point is that this number disguises as whatever number they want and will start charging your account at VZN

I also received two calls from this number while I was on the phone with Verizon about a billing dispute. I called back and got the same response as others.  Further net browsing shows the number is associated with Ryla Inc. which is now a subsidiary of Alorica, a national Call Center company. I called them and reported the incidents. Apparently they have some association  with Verizon through Ryla.

It looks like it is a subcontractor that does work for Verizon and AT&T. The number seems to be for a business in Alabama in Alabama called Ryla Inc, so it looks and sounds like the Cell companies are sub contracting to Americans.

Male voice on a recorded message.  Only called my cell in Ohio.  I cant understand what he says, but appears he says unkindly " please enter your passcode, (Waits 10 secs and ) Goodby"

Not sure, I am going to try a few hacks.  try  * while he is talking, ** , *1, *011, *0000     then # same if not working.
