I called the number and the recording actually sait that it was Washington Mutual.

When they call my cell, I have them on silent ring.

When I answer and we speak, I tell them that they have a wrong number; and the calls stop for a couple of few weeks.

F*** those jerk-offs at Washington Mutual

I got a call today as well from 305-384-2104. waMU. I owe them some money, but they are screwed up. So, they will never get my 566.00 I still owe them. When you are a shoddy company as waMU, there is no wonder they are a broke bank.

I got my second call in a week from them.
No message left.
My payment was due exactly 2 weeks ago, when I only sent them
half my minium req amount.

Seems strange that they don't ask for me to call them,
or give me more time to pay.

I guess when the Wamu is so hardup for cash, this is their only option to
collect.

I started getting calls from them yesterday, the odd thing is that my CC account is current and I just got the bill. The really annoying thing is that this is a collection agency working for WAMU. Since they are in India they will tell you they dont have to obey our laws. My answer to the extremely rude Indian gentleman was an airhorn I keep for my boat. It may not be legal here but they aren't in the US and I am not in India so they can't really do anything.

these people are obviously scammers. they're not from any REAl company they're just looking to get your money. They called me too but I just told them to go to hell.

I DON'T have any connection with them and yet the call and call.  I have called them and requested to be put on teh do not call list and yet the continue to call.

I recieved a call from this number today on my cell which I didn't answer then on my home phone 5 seconds later. I do have an account with them & I am behind. Like everyone in the world these days, I'm struggling to make ends meet. Tried the website listed in Lady Luck's comments, but got an error message. Thank God for caller id!! After reading these comments, I'm so glad I didn't answer! Times are hard enough without having to deal with this kind of harassment.

this number called and left a message on my boyfriend's phone - all that was on the message was some really creepy breathing. kinda scary since it's the night before halloween. XD

I looked on google.com and that number was reported on another website as being the number for WAMU collections. I have a credit card with Washington Mutual that I didn't pay this month, so that makes sence that it is them calling. I have answered the phone a couple times and they just hang up on me, so I dont know if it even would do any good to answer the phone when they call. On my caller ID it shows the name as CSC/Sears #2516 with the 305 number you listed.

Glad to know it's a WaMu phone number. I have already complained to a supervisor about all the other numbers that were calling. Most have stopped but this number continues to call and they are EXTREMELY rude, even refused to identify the company, so I just hang up.  Guess I'll have to call a supervisor again to try to stop it.

They call dozens of times a day to harass you into payment. At some point, we all miss a payment by a week or two or a month.  It happens.  But they don't care, they're relentless and they start within a few DAYS of a missed payment.  After 1-2 weeks of calls, you'll get a letter stating that they need a 2 month payment for the calls to stop.  I was planning on paying them next pay anyway, but it pisses me off to think that they even bullied me into it.  Whatever, WaMu.  I just paid last and this months fees online.  I have a confirmation number I'm supposed to give the callers, to have them stop bothering me.  No. Let them waste their time calling all day.  They'll figure it out eventually.

I receive calls from this phone no all the time , I looked it up and it is Sears/CC/WAMU ..Whatever < I don't have this card or credit with WAMU or Sears ,, it is annoying , The FCC should put a stop to this  harrassment ...

We have gotten 4 calls from this number just today. They never leave a message. This is so annoying. They started a little after 8 am and have called 3 more times.

Yeh, people do miss payments(unexpected things do come up) like the economy or lose of wages, trying to take care of your family, etc. so lets call them and ask them if they have ever missed a payment and how are they dealing with the economy. Must be they don't understand that not everyone is rich and that we are in tough times.  Got an email from these people a few days ago, sent them a response as to how much and when and they are still calling me at home and at work on the weekends, go figure!  When I saw CSC/Sears I knew that it was someone looking for money from me. Good thing for caller ID cause I use it all the time.

Had unexpected back surgery and now on disability, explained that to them and they didn't seem to care, told them i was willing to make payments, they still didn't seem to care. They will get paid when I feel darn good and ready!

Every time they call, answer, hang up, lift the phone up hearing a dial tone and push *57 wait for prompt and the phone companies will trace the number and 3 annoying calls will be charged and procecuted by the phone companies. Nice service for us.

have an account with wamu..so does my wife.  lost job, just getting back on my feet.  Everybody has gone through these times, and up until a month ago we were current with both accounts.  Now some female dog from another country calls on my wifes account, she demands 158.00 from me...on my wifes account....one that I AM NOT A SIGNER ON THE ACCOUNT!!  I asked her, am I an authorized signer on this account?  Her answer...NO!  Does my name show up on her account anywhere??  Her answer.... NO!  I then go on to tell her that if I am not authorized to conduct business on my wifes account, I am also not authorized to speak to her regarding that account!!  I then inform her that she is breaking the law in accordance with the Fair Debt and Collection Practices act!  She is silent...I asked her for a number that my wife could call and speak to them about this bill....reluctantly she gives it to me. Call ended!  That witch from india didnt even wish me a good day!  HOW RUDE!!

Received called from WAMU using the following numbers: 305-384-2104, 480-296-0235, 503-405-9247,425-507-0644, 509-481-9106, 954-377-0257, 602-358-0120, 617-449-0075, 760-904-5066,404-267-0006. When I answer the phone their is no one there, so I just hang up.  I have contact WaMu (I only missed 1 payment by a month) although, they are not willing to work with me unless the automatically deduct the agreed upon amount out of my checking account.

Isnt it illegal for wamu to use the name of another company when they call? Why cant they just leave a message when they call, instead of calling six to seven times a day using fifteen different numbers.

It's called fraud.  If they tell you they are recording this conversation tell them you are also recording this conversation at your end. They come unglued and tell you they won't authorize that. Tell them if they want to talk it's going to be recorded or they can hang up. They told me a supervisor would call back. I told them if he did I was going to record the conversation. Got no call. BTW I do have a recorder and I use it.

I just received a call on my cell phone from 305-384-2104, but no message left.  Right after that I received a call on my home phone from this same number, and when I answered they hung up.

i received a call from that number today. if it's wamu collections why are they calling me?? i just applied for one of their pre approved credit cards. they also didn't leave a message, but when i called back it said "please enter your washington mutual credit card number now"

I don;t know who this is calling me. I'm sick of all these numbers calling me. I am trying to do the best I can do. It's probably a collection agency.

The number shows csc/sears #2516, when I answer they are rude & hang up.  They changed the payment date on my due for payment day.  I email them, they said NO PROBLEM, we will work with you.  The next thing I know is all these charges & they won't work with me.

There has got to be an antiharrassment procedure to stop these folks.  They are downright rude and disrespectful, they are calling at all hours of the day and night on my cell phone, and never leave any messages.

Same pattern...They call cell, no message left. Immediately after they call home and when I answer, it's "dead air". . It's possible that this is an auto-dialer that was not/is not configured correctly. Instead of transferring us to the "next available agent", it is simply hanging up.

I just don't see what they would gain by calling and not saying anything...

This is ANOTHER WAMU number - we have gotten calls from 2 different FL numbers (this one and 321 549 3042), GA 770 240 0000, CA 619 471 0037 and 626 534 0250, TX 210 247 0026 and 817 256 9617, AZ 602 358 0120, AND PA 412 595 9025. They all show up as the state they are coming from. Very rarely is a message left (I think maybe 3-4 out of about 30 calls). We have 2 accounts but both were up to date. The one time we tried to call back it asks for your account number, but since we don't know who they are calling, we didn't enter a number. Shouldn't there be a way to stop them? They've even called on Sundays and Labor Day!!

I also get these calls. I have been out of work since Jan. I tell them that everytime i feel like answering the phone. I have found that the only way to stop the calls is to go online to your account and give them the information # then all they can do is send me letters. I just got a call a few moments ago thinking it was Sears, big mistake. Change your # on your account and the calls will stop within a day or two. Every day until 9pm est.
