no I have received the same thing from this phone number and others. they are not legit number. if they dont send you an notice in the mail. then it is a fraud. also you can ask for the court case number, their name  etc... which I did form  an online lawyer. when I got  the case number it was a fake. so a long story short no.

Report them to the FBI internet fraud division, they are a bogus firm buying info from American companies. Also report them to the FTC as they will actually take legal action against the companies here supporting this scheme. I told the guy that the FBI and FTC told me he was full of sh** and I wasn't giving him a dime. He said something in a foreign language followed by ok and hung up.

If these people call you, report them to the FBI's internet fraud dept which handles cases like this. Also report them to the FTC. They are doing business in America buying your personal information from companies, who will be prosecuted. They have already sued the last batch of idiots doing this crap. I received a few calls from this guy saying his name was Jack Spring from US Cash Advance and that I had an outstanding payday loan that I was being held liable for by answering to theft and fraud charges in court if I didn't pay... At first I started to freak out, but the way he requires payment is by a greendot money card packaging, which is not usually a demand for someone who has an active valid checking account with a debit card attached... Also, he called on Fridayand said that I had 2 hours to respond to him or have the charges filed against me, and then called again Monday and again today (Thursday) saying the same thing... The only problem I have is that these people had my SSN, my DL#, my work information, and my home address... These scammers get info from anywhere they can and really use it!! How do I stop these harassing phone calls and protect my personal information from being used fraudulently??

Has anyone been told they will come to your place of work to be picked up and taken to jail?

I wish I knew how to stop them!!!! They keep calling my husband's cell phone and it's really annoying. We do not owe any money to any payday loan companies. I don't know what to do!

Got a call from 253-235-2290. East Indian accent.   LEGAL DEPT.... Saying I scammed payday loan
and I need to pay it back because they are suing me.......  CAN NO ONE STOP THESE FOOLS.  They are raiding data... I have no such issues...
I WILL NOT RESPOND TO THESE CRAZZIES...

They are threatening turning in legal documentation and having the police show up to my door and supeana me and take me away for two nights. They said they are the only company that peovides payday loans online they called me three times but could not give me who I owe money to.they claim to be from this US money loan company then the same guy just tries to disquise his voice. They are getting really nasty to.

Received a call not once but as of right now three times with the same message that I have to call them about a loan that I never received. This is the second time for these phone calls I want to know whom is selling information to these people and where they are getting the phone numbers from.

ok says they are a legal firm / attorney india accent says i owe for an internet loan/payday loan never had one did apply but did not get one so someone is selling information , i called it back it said all reps were busy i left a message for them that i was sending the recording onto the fbi , i tried to call back a later time and a lady answered lol go figga
