It's a group called Acorn claiming to be a navigator to help the elderly sign up for the new Healthcare . They wanted too much personal data so I hung up.

I just got a call from this number, it just said from Auburn, WA.  I answered, no one said anything so I hung up.

I've never rented a car from Enterprise.

Recorded MSG saying I qualified for a loan. B***s***. I don't need one. Said from Auburn, WA.

I answered but the call was immediately disconnected

Hey I work for Harris/Decima not Marris lol And they are really just looking for your opinion and that is why the do not call list does not apply to them. It blows my mind when I hear people complain about a company's service because its usually the same people who refuse to actually tell the company what they would like to change. You know the Harris Poll? yeah well thats them alright :) so chill and stop acting like you know something !

JUST RECEIVED A CALL from 253-245-2707 -- They hung up -- I CALLED THEM BACK:  They are telemarketing SCUM:  "We are Marris(spelling?) Research, and we contact people to ask their opinions on products and service that may be of interest to them.  We are not a telemarketing firm since we do not contact..."  They go on to explain in painful detail how the Do Not Call lists do not apply to them since they are conducting "research" -- report them to the FCC, just to make sure.  I did.  

I suspect they way they get around the telemarketing laws is by calling and hanging up, and then curious people (like me) call them back.  In that way, it's not telemarketing, if it stimulates an inbound call.  

These companies are so annoying in that they ARE violating Do Not Call lists and regulations.  I reported them to the FCC just to show them that no amount of disclaimers on their outbound messages will prevent me from prosecuting them to the full extend of the law

They use auto dialers, the do not call list is a farce.

I am tired of companies or whoever is calling my house and don't leave messages. Some of the numbers I am providing here is just in case any of you get a call from these numbers don't bother to answer because if they have been calling me, I am sure they are doing it to other people. I have been getting more calls ever since I put my cell and my home phone in the DO NOT CALL LIST. I have answered a lot of the calls and some of them as soon as I answer they hang up. While others have their computer place the calls or some block their names and phones, but I don't accept block calls on my home phone so they keep trying.

I got a call from this number but did not answer and they did not leave a message. I don't rents cars so not sure if it was Enterprise why the would call me.

Caller ID said Enterprise. I didn't answer. Is this the car rental company? Why would they call me. I've never rented a car in my life. I am even registered with Do Not Call.

It's a third party company that conducts survey calls for Enterprise Rent A Car. I just finished a rental for insurance purposes and received a call. Didn't know who it was, so I didn't answer. I used to work for ERAC, though, and this is how they do quality control on the service they provide.

I should have answered it. Chris from Enterprise was very helpful in getting me a Suburban to replace mine while it was in the shop, even though spring break was coming up. Then, when I needed to pick up my vehicle after work was completed, Sarah gave me a ride back to the body shop after she had closed the branch.

A lady with a slight accent (hispanic) asked for a person by name (a foreign name), not me or anyone else that would answer the phone.  She said "sorry" and hung up.

They called me in vancouver Canada, saying they were calling on behalf of Alamo. Same crap asked how my service was for the car I rented in manhattan last week. When I told her I lived in CANADA , and have never been  to ny she  sounded suprised. They have called me now 3 times in 24 hours and I'm ready to take this up with police here. That's B-****  get a life.

Same thing just happened to me just moments ago. I didn't answer it but I was curious so I looked up since  have received this call before.
Enterprise surveys makes sense. I just rented a car. It also just so happens that I work for Enterprise. So perhaps I will answer it next time I see come up. As far as I know, Enterprise uses a third party company for surveys so I guess that's why they don't know I work for them.

Actually all bets are off once you are a customer.  Those telemarketing calls do not apply to the statute you quoted once you have completed a business transaction any merchant.  They have the right to follow up for surveys, additional business, etc.
