For all of you 'smartphone' users.... Get a call blocker app. Works great! There are several for free! Look for one that is 4 stars or better.

They keep calling .  Never leave a message. Now that I know it is bogus. I will not ever pick-up. I am on the do not call list so why are they violating my privacy?????

They called my cell # on Sat., 5/5 at 11:15 am EST.  When you press 9 their message is just repeated.  F*cking Sc*mbags.

Same as everyone else. Mine was 5/5/12 @ 5:00pm EST.  Called today and got the "...message expired..".

This call came in on Saturday afternoon, left no messages.  Is someone making a scam business?  Can someone help all the citizens to stop this phone call.  It is waste of poeple's time and monies.

Not sure where this phone call is coming from?  Can someone stop this non-sense phone call?  It is wasting our phone minutes and time loss.

Here's the answer to all our prayers.  I found this on a site I posted a telemarketer's number at.  I tried it and it WORKS!  I put the tones at the beginning of my phone  greeting about three months ago and in the last three weeks have had "ZERO" calls.  Whover posted that "THANK YOU, THANKI YOU".   Here's what I found:

Telemarketers almost exclusively use autodialers to make their calls.  One out of a thousand will have live reps doing the dialing.  When these dialers connect (you  answer the phone) they first listen for any tones generated.  If no tones are detected they then transfer the call to one of the reps in a call center.  If the autodialer  hears the 3 beeps from dialing a "DISCONNECTED" number, the number that was just dialed is automatically "REMOVED" from their list.  Below is a link that has  this tone plus the verbal message.  You DO NOT need the verbal message.  Download or copy the "DISCONNECTED" MP3 or WAV file to your desktop.  Create or  change the greeting you have when someone calls you and you're not available.  At the VERY BEGINNING of your message place the 3 tones (NOT THE VOICE  MESSAGE) then continue with your usual or normal greeting.  The autodialer will hear the tones and BINGO, your number will be removed since they think it's a  disconnected number.  DONE.  In a few weeks you will be removed from all or most of the lists.  Of course you may have to explain the tones to the callers you DO  want to speak to but that's a small tradeoff.  Pass this info on to anyone you know that gets junk calls or even help post this on these websites.  If you continue  getting calls after reading this, it's your "OWN" fault!  END JUNK CALLS.

I have begun getting calls from this number.  No message left, no name associated with the number.

I AM ON THE COLORADO NO CALL LIST AND HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER NUMEROUS TIMES.

I received the call on my cell - no message left.  Irritating.  Glad some of you know what it's about. I'm in Washington state.

This is the same company that sent me junk mail saying I had won a cruise - but I had to give a credit card number to receive my prize.. total scam..

Yeah, survey, riiiiiight!  They only say it's a survey, because that get's them past the law, because political surveys can legally call people who are on the Do Not Call lists.  Then once they aske the survey (one bogus question in this case?), they can move on the real purpose of the call, the "free" cruise scam.

You might want to save this number (along with all of the others that continually call and bug you), and when you are asked for your phone number on any of these scams, feed them back one of their own numbers and let them call themselves.  If a bunch of people did that, it would set up a type of Denial of Service attack on their phone dialing zombie systems that would be difficult and time consuming for them to weed out.  A taste of their own medicine, as it were.

I have a list of about 10 numbers, the latest 4 or 5 of which I keep handy, just in case I need to pass on a pest number.
