Got a call from this number - asked for so and so...thought I'd stay on the line for some entertainment. ;+) Have been holding for 20 minutes now...still holding...finally got through. They were looking for an Alfia Morgan - not here. Told them that I think that I heard she passed away . They demanded a death certificate - told them to contact the Canadian government - they told I was being uncooperative...LMFAO...

these people called MY MOTHERS CELL PHONE trying to reach someone with a name similar to mine, never said who they were or what the name of the company was only gave a number to call back and said:
"This information is intended for "name". Claim # ___. This is Ashley Coleman calling regarding an order that has been submitted to my office. I need an address to present you with your formal claim whether it be at your residence or your place of employment. "Name" you have a claim that has been brought against you. Now at this point you have the opportunity to contact the firm handling the matter. They can be reached at 866-275-4428, your claim number listed on the order ____. "Name" you have officially been notified."

I just received a recorded message from this number as well. I have been receiving them for quite some time but the message always cuts out when it says the persons name, today I was able to get the name. I called them back immediately to let them know the person they are looking for does not live at this number, on top of that it is my cell phone.
The person they are looking for is my ex, but I just told the lady that person does not live here. She assured me that my number would be taken off the list. Lets see if that happens.
Oh and when they answer the phone they must identify themselves and she answered hello, may I help you. No company name or representative name, that's a joke.

They have to disclose all in writing. First step for them is to send a letter. You can go to Statute of Limitations, www.gov.pe.ca/law/statutes/pdf/s-07.pdf...read the article and then respond to the Collection Agency with all that they must do.

This number 866-275-3057 keeps calling and asking for a person that has never lived in this residence. When I called to inform of this the call kept getting cut off. And I know the person has never lived here because it is my Grandparents home and they have lived in it since it was built.

I recieved calls from this number every month for someone who has not been close to my home for over 4 years.  I called this number back and told them numerous times that we have not seen or heard from this person in over 4 years and they have assured me each time that our number will be removed... no so... th calls continue.. today I was not so nice when I called back and said I would report them if they ever call here concerning this matter again... we'll see if they do.....

left a message for my bro......bro called back and they were so rude!....they said he has BestBuy outstanding balance of 3K since 2007! .....we think this is total BS! .....they never sent any written letter, plus wouldn?t even say what to do if we think we don?t owe the money (they just said that stage is gone- ***WTF***)......If you had such a bill wouldn?t it show on your your VISA bill????????............where the hell did they come from?.....this is crazy!

Have been calling the last few weeks looking for someone else.  I am not picking up the call...

calls twice a day, i never answer anyhow. seems like they could be scam artists from posts im reading.If the company wants you, 'they' call you.

Bell are in part to blame for these calls occurring and that is why bell have gotten into trouble!!
yet nothing by authorities has been done about them and the callers...who can we trust to protect us? the answer is no one!!

Called Bell and they said there is nothing they can do about it.

they keep calling here despite its not for me or my wife.

I spoke with a representative from the "collection agency".  They said I had 9 months overdue bill from Enbridge when I've never signed up with Enbridge.

When I refused to give my current address as "confirmation of my identity" by asking "Do you know my current address to confirm my identity with it?" they hung up.

Very rude and not willing to prove their legitimacy.

These fu*ks keep calling and are very very rude. I wouldnt give them a cent simply because i think it's a scam... if hydro one needs me f*** them they can call me.

I have been called by this number the moment I got my telephone.  It's been four years now.  I had moved to a new house in Ottawa after becoming a widow.  These people are the most arrogant and abusive people.  Bell Canada is encouraging these people because they will not do anything.  I wish we would all get together and force Bell Canada do do something about this.  The only thing Bell is doing is encouraging this behaviour.

Collection agency - Enbridge Gas in this case.

I get calls from this phone number as well, was told this collection company only holds accounts for one year and they are still calling everyday, it has been 2 and half years later. Does anyone know how to stop them calling or how to report them. Thanks

RUDE. Abusive and would not say who they were working for. I would not help them (weren't looking for me)and I was verbally attacked and told I was a bad person!!! DO NOT PICK UP IF THIS NUMBER CALLS YOU! Been calling for a year and a half despite being told it's the wrong number.
