so this is a scam? oh please tell me it is. i'm scared they said i would lose my job and not be able to work again in the state i live in. they know my ss# dob and phone #. threating me with an amount over $5,000. and that i had an hour to come up with $1,095 or else i need to show up at the court house tomorrow.

Claimed to be debt collector the first time he called for my son. The second time he claimed to be a friend of my sons and that he lent him money. I repeatedly told him my son no longer lives here and that I do not speak with him. This guy thought I would pay him the $300 bucks he supposedly lent my son. We asked to speak to his supervisor, and after a 5 minute arguement, he put him on the phone. Told his "supervisor" the situation and that we were being harrassed by this guy and he told us he would be fired. 5 minutes later Jason calls back yelling that we got him fired. Now he calls and leaves messages for my son, saying he will hurt his wife, children, and grandchildren. Little does he know but my son is not married, has no children, and obviously no grandchildren. This guy is a scam artist and so is his "supervisor". Send these people no money, and definately report them to your authorities.

I got the same call today, claimed to be an attorney and told they had my ss# and that they were going to send my information tomarrow for fraud investigation. Asked for my attorney info, I asked for his info and attorney info so I could report them to authorities and he hung up on me....Creepy

Same old scam. A guy with a Middle Eastern accent tells me that "my file is about to be downloaded to the courts and if I don't pay them, well, may God help you as this all comes down on you"
Same script I have heard for years.
They are threating in tone, and I am thinking about calling the FBI.
