scam; from Tacoma Washington; left no message

This is a SPOOF and they are stealing this # that belongs to St Clair hospital in WA State as theirs. Sorry to hear this because I work with the phone system here and the operators are being slammed with calls about it. I am working with Century Link on the isse so please do not call the hospital. ========Thank You :>)

This number called my home I was not home they didn't leave a message but my caller ID says it is St. Clare Hospital. When I dialed this number back it just kept ringing. I sure wish they could figure out a way to catch these people especially when they use a Hospital as a rouse to get you to answer the phone.

These people called me too. They showed St Clare Hosp but they are not from a hospital. They are scamming. You should not give any info to them.

showed up as a missed called.  when i called it back it repeatedly says this number is busy, please try back later.   no message was left

Just got this as a missed call on my cell phone - number only. I will block them with my mobile carrier.

Caller ID said st clare hosp so I was concerned and I answered. Instead it was a telemarketer telling me this was the final notice to lower interest rates on my credit card. They didn't say what credit card. I am on the DNC registry but they call anyway and get you to answer by scaring you. I still get telemarketer calls from time to time and don't usually file a complaint, but for this one I did.

Please file an FTC complaint if you get a call from them.

This number calls numbers on the national 'do not call' registry with a recorded message (both illegal). This number calls with the standard "you need to lower your interest rates" recorded message scam. Their operators are instructed to never provide a phone number or address (both must be provided when asked by law...) and will not allow you to talk to a manager. This is absolutely a scam as 100% of legitimate businesses will gladly provide this information, only a scammer will refuse to do so and only a scammer will instruct their operators not to provide this information.

Called our business fax line, no caller id - just the number, left no message (hope they heard the fax tone and it made them go away). This number they called has never been a voice number, looks like random dialing.

No voice message left for me, but number is not one I've been called from before.  It is disconcerting to see how many people see the name of a hospital yet are left voice messages about the ability to lower a credit card interest rate.  How can any business other than the one that issued the credit card lower an interest rate?  I agree that this appears to be a person or group attempting to steal financial information.

Just got call from this number with this weird area code.  So I "rejected" it.  So here I am immediately after the call and I see this piece of crap is having a field day.  Probably a scammer,  DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO.

AND I DONT HAVE CHASE CREDIT CARD AND MY PHONE IS ON NO CALL LIST AS BUSINESS, CALL PHONE.  WILL PUT IN COMPLAINT WITH PHONE COMPANY AS SEEMS TO BE STRAIGHT FORWARD SCAM TO GET INFORMATION AND STEAL MONEY

I received a call from this number to reduce my credit card rate, however the balance they said I had was way over the balance I have on my credit card. When I asked what company they were calling from they hung up. People are pathetic.

He called to tell us that our credit card  can offer a lower interest rate.  /but would not tell me how is calling

This a.m. received a call from St. Clare Hosp -- but no message was left.  We just returned from that area and had concerns that a family member had been admitted.  When I attempted to call back.....busy signal 4X.  After reading the reviews, obviously this is a scam.  R.B.....get a life.

Just got this call from my cell phone, didn't recognize it and didn't pick up. It didn't come across on the caller id as anything except the actual phone number. They didn't leave a message.

Same call,  don't answer numbers unfamiliar but with ST. Clare's Hospital as the ID thought best to answer since there is a St. Clare's Hospital in our community. Just as everyone else states-recording about lowering interest rates!  These people should be fined and prosecuted to the max.  Using a hospital ID as a front just shows what low life they are.

As many others, St. Clare's hospital showed up as the ANI, but it sure wasn't them . . . I got the same credit card "lower your interest rate" spam as most others. I've blocked the number via my VoIP provider's caller ID filtering service, so I shouldn't hear from them again.

This is particularly obnoxious as the crooks have found a way to have their number falsely display as "St Clare Hospital" so people will call back thinking a relative has been admitted. This deserves your best efforts to report, such as to the National Do Not Call complaint system.
