Claim to be "oakview law firm" and tell me I have charges against me for check and internet fraud and that I received money from a check cashing loan and never paid it back. Trouble is, They say I received this money into a bank account that I didn't even have yet. I am doing more research and contacting the "loan company" that I evidently borrowed from directly to see what they say. Good luck

They're full of you know what.They called me and when I asked for their address since I knew it was a scam they siad thank you very much have a nice day.I told them if they call again I would report them and they said they wouldn't call again. Call their bluff it's some kind of scam

This Indian man calls my house and cell phone non-stop and identifies himself as some sort of sherriff. Tells you he has your social security number, that you owe him money and he's going to put you in jail!!! He calls cell and house phone non-stop. Reported the number to my local police dept. and to the police in Kaleen, TX where the number originates from.

Same as above.  Heavy Indian accent and calling from a law firm claiming I owe money.  I have been dealing with these type of calls for months now.  Everytime I say I turn them in to the feds or police with their number they stop calling for awhile.  Then when they get new numbers all bets are off.  Good luck to all.

Called me last night.

This number kept calling my phone repeatdley and my JOB number. So i finally decided to answer the call and see what it was about. The man was identified himself as Marshal and Michel Phillips from a Law Investigation Firm in Texas strong indian accent and a very busy background. Told me I was being sued from a company & if I wanted to resolve this matter out of court I had to make a payment of $454.00. He told me to first write a apology letter to the courts then how much I was going to pay and write my billing address on the letter and my card number and exp. date and three digit code. He wanted me to fax over this letter along with a copy of my photo ID to the following fax number 206-350-5394..The scary part about this whole situation is that this person told me my last four of my social secruity,my home address and e-mail address.He continues calling my Job harrasing me and telling my co-workers he knows I'm at work and hangs up on them, he also even asked to speak to my supervisor. I will be reporting  this to the police,FBI & Home land secruity to get them off my back.

I got a call from these clowns also. Im wandering how they got my numbers They got my cell  and my home #.The only thing I can think of is I answered an ad on craigslist.

I am receiving these calls constantly on my phone from different numbers.  He already hates me because I argue with him and don't believe anything he says.  I have 20 years in the legal field.  Police don't call.  They pick you up.  Lawyers don't call claimants.  They serve you with papers.  This is a fraudulent person or person(s) trying to get money and personal information to steal from innocent people.  Please do not fall into the trap.  Hopefully, they will be arrested soon.  They probably got our info from a payday loan company or something.

Same here.  Got an agressive voice mail - caller claimed to be law enforcement.  Thick Indian accent.

I have also recieved phone calls from this number threatening to freeze my social and driver license. They said i had commited internet bank fraud or something and that i needed to give them more personal information and fax in a copy of my bank information and made a payment soon or they would see me in court. They called from a different number numerous time within an hour wanting this information. The first number they called from was unknown but they gave me another number from new york which as i called to see who they were did not exist they were rerouting the number through there. The first call i got they sounded nigerian and this last call from this number they did sound indian, I did take out a loan through money mutual online that is the only thing i put my information on and they say it supposed to be secure????

I also have been getting calls from this # Never got anything from this scam outfit, told them I will call my lawyer they said have him call. Sick of prople trying to get somethin for nothing

this is a big time scam DO NOT pay them anything...talked to my local police department, they advised to contact your local phone provider and have the number blocked and report the number to them as a scam number.  If you can't have the number blocked, then when they call asked them for their badge number and what department they are with and supvr name and that should make them hang up.  If they don't then tell them to go ahead and sue you..cause they can't.  BUT please do not send them money

These people call from a different number everyday.  I'm sick of it.  After talking to them for awhile, and letting them tell me everything they have against me, I finally asked them if people really fall for this.  I then told the man that I had already called the FBI, and they have been located.  He then hung up

these guys are from south africa, and the only way to deal with them is to play games, they call with name like George Washington, Austin, Jack, Billy,  I play games and call them back over and over and tell them that I am a made Girl Friend and want to take to my cheating Boyfriend.... I waste a bunch of their time and the tell me they are going to call the police on me, I tell them to go ahead and they even beg me not to call back, then in a couple of days another voice and the same message,,, this is my new hobby

they call me once a week saying they are the law and investigating firm and its time sensitive if i dont call back they are gona put my ss card on hold

I rec'd a call today and there famous statement is "I wish you good luck", I have rec'd calles before last year.  I call the Attorney General Office in the state they are calling from, FTC, and Homeland Security-Internet Fraud, any governement official that can help,  Keep in mind you must also this in the state that they calling from, keep records of everything you do and what is siad to you, and yes do not answer the phone anymore.

I rec'd a phone call from 254-415-4555 (Killeen Texas) the person identify himself as Officer Jack from Investigation Department; he had a very strong indian accent and a lot noise in the background.  He called twice left a voice mail message on the second call, it stated " That I must return the phone call or have my lawyer call.  What's more dangerous about this call to me is he recited that last four digits of my soical security number. I will however report this to the FTC here in Maryland and in Texas.  I will also contact any other government official (Homeland Security-Internet Fraud; etc)

File a complaint with the FTC. Maybe if enough people report them the feds will crack down on this scam. I get calls every day from New York, California, and Washington state, Always the same story. Today I answered the call and got the same threats, and when I told the idiot I was reporting him to the Federal Trade Commission he hung up really fast.

I got a phone call from this #. They call me all the time and even late at night. I'm sick of these phones and they leave messages stating that I'm running away from the problem and that they need me to call him back right away. The gentlemen did have a strong indian accent and also a lot of background noise. I am reporting them to the fbi because they are harrassing me

This place called me, too - I told them I was reporting them to the FBI and they hung up.

Some guy called me with a british but indian/middle eastern accent telling me to call them and wishing me good luck if I don't...lol these people are funny and I hope someone will hunt these suckers down and put them to justice!

wow! I been getting calls from these fools for a long time and even when I tell them they will not get one time from me they just keep calling me.  I report them to the FTC and they told me not to answer it  but they never stop . They also call my job and I finally had a enough so I started to call them back every every few hours and I wish them good luck and then blow a whisle into my phone and they are p****off. I feel better after that . These people are PIGS so don't be nice to them .

I BEEN GETTING THE SAMES CALLS  IN THE EVENING AND DURING WORK. CALLED BACK AND   QUESTION THEM AND THEY QUICKLY HUNG UP !!  LOTS OF NOSIE IN BACK GROUND
AND INDIA ACCENTS!!

I got 2 voicemails and they both said to call back regarding time senstitive matter and that i have a a civil suit aginst me. he said if i don't that i will be arrested!!! SCAM SCAM I know not to give my info to anyone over the phone.

These guys are targeting people who have borrowed money on line. they tell you to give them 300.00 or you will be prosecuted. hoping that anyone would be stupid enough to fall for it. DONT!! If you owe any money to any online borrowing facility they will contact you directly. Somehow this group has figured out how to hack your info.. report numbers to police and next time answer the call and tell them you are talking on a recorded line for the FBI to follow up.
