Scammers alleging to be calling about a Citizens Bank Business Credit Card called from automated system with survey of questions regarding a recent customer service call. They were given very low ratings as I DO NOT HAVE ANY CITIZENS BANK BUSINESS CREDIT CARD!!!! Fortunately, in my position all incoming calls are traced and not by "Spoof Caller ID" numbers. The agency will be sending a team to visit them.

Several calls and hang ups. Because I'm in the middle of looking at cars I am getting a lot of calls from unknown numbers. I called the number back. Turns this is from Credit Card Services and the person I spoke to was obviously reading from a script and not to articulate. After insistent digging on my part turns out it's from RBS. He asked to verify my mother's maiden name which I declined to do -- who knows who it was calling. This morning I called and it was RBS that called -- they were taking a survey because I had called them earlier in the week to discuss $1.50 charges on my statement. Seriously? Creepy calling isn't going to give you any better scores.
BTW -- $1.50 charges -- RBS is the only card company I deal with that charges you interest on the fees charged for transfer balances to them -- it's buried in the fine print -- this is the 'minimum interest charge' -- not a big fan of RBS... now more than ever.

This number called me twice again today. They called twice last week within a couple hours as well...really annoying. They do not leave messages. When I call back I get a computer chick asking for info.

It's just a response survey. Even if you are on the DNC, they can't stop if because it's Citizen's Bank, which if they call, it's because you've called in the past.

This number was on my cell. I missed the call and called it back.She automatically started asking me for my account number and social security number without asking me any of my security questions. I was born at

As annoying as it is it's legit. Follow up call for customer service. All the cc companies do it and the automated system has no protocol to deal with voice mail.

I received 3 messages or non messages since there was no message at all just silence. When I requested envelope info from my voice mail all 3 silent messages were from 877-441-8099 "mailbox". I recently emailed an address to stop credit calls for a person who apparently had my number prior ( I moved to a new address in Jan/Feb & received a new landline #) that credit service would leave 6-8 messages daily. I finally tracked it down & emailed them to stop as the website suggested. Now only days later of doing that I'm getting this new batch of messages. So annoying!

i just received a call from this number too. i also did not get a message, however i was told by a friend that there is a scam going around where they will call with most of your card information and ask for your security code saying that there is a problem with your card. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE CODE!!! it is the only thing they need to really steal your card information and use it fraudulently. hope this helped...

Someone at this number called me, they did not leave a message. I got online to see who it was and found this site. I then called RBS it is not one of their numbers, the operator told me she called it and they said CREDIT CARD SERVICES and would not tell her anything else whatsoever. These people have been calling me for several years and I report it every time to the DNC government agency and apparently THEY CANNOT DO A DAMN THING ABOUT IT so what is the use of having an agency if they cannot stop these people?

This was an automated service from RBS asking me to rate my recent interaction with their customer service line. I didn't like the way it didn't leave a VM, and they kept trying (3x's in 24hours), but I thought the call was valid.

RBS=Royal Bank of Scotland or Citizens Bank. Not a scam--just an automated customer service survey call. I had called them a couple of days ago about an account question and they called today with the automated survey.

This goes to RBS/Citizens/Charter One Bank - they conduct a survey from this number, 9 non-identifying questions, rating their services, courtesy and credit card from 1 to 5. No identifying of any type was asked, no SSN or credit card numbers or PIN numbers, or even name. It's a computer voice that states "due to you using our customer service lately, we would like to conduct a brief survey", and I did call their CS the other day. I got a call earlier today, didn't get to answer it and no voice mail, so that had me Googling the number also, and if you do call it they do answer just "credit card services", so it must be re-directed to their credit card division when you call it, but would be nice to for their automated voice to states that it's RBS/Citizens/Charter One's CC division.
