i also asked if there was an address listed on there and she said it wasnt which answered my questions about what all types of personal info of mine do you have. then she got off my line and said it was some mistake and i laughed and hung up

so i told her i did not remember entering into any contests and she told me that maybe one of my friends or family entered me into it and listed my number; however, im new to the area and have no family and friends here and she was speechless. at this point i began to dig deeper. so i asked her what name was placed on the drawing along with the number  because when she originally called not once did she have my name to ask for me she just called me ma'am and went right into the gifts i had won so i wanted to knw if they had my name as well. this lady told me that no name was entered on the drawing only a phone number so i asked her how would she knw if they were givin g the prizes to the right person if no name was attached to the phone number...is the economy that well that you can give away stuff to anyone who you talk to.

the funny part is that i gave her the silent treatment after she was done and she thought i had hung up so i too played along.  i asked her where had i entered and she told me it was one of the local malls here in town which she named all of them none of which i shop at for one or even go into let alone put my number on anything. so i asked her when i "entered" into this contest and she told me it was the summer of this year or last year, not to mention i just moved into the area a couple months ago so i couldnt have entered last year "before the season" as she stated

haha i had been receiving calls from this number as well and very frequently i call quite a few different numbers myself that i do not save for the type of work that i do. assuming that this is number was a returned call from one of the many numbers that dial daily, normally i would miss the call from this number. upon returning the call it too would tell me that the number reached has been disconnected or no longer in service and i was confused at first because i had just missed a call so there is no way that it is suddenly disconnected. today i caught the call and i too had miraculously won airline tickets through a drawing contest that i never entered.

I always seem to miss this caller and when I attempt to call back I get a recording indicating the number is not in service...typical of scammers and telemarketers who use hubs and fake numbers to dial from.

We also received a call regarding the same.  This time it was a guy.  Checked with Verizon and they verify that it is a scam.

I just got a call from this number - at work.  Very loud, very noisy in the background and the phone kept breaking up.  She told me that they had done a drawing and I had won free airline tickets.  Well I knew I hadn't signed up for any drawings.  So I asked her if she realized she had called a business.  She gets quiet and then starts the uhh..umm..well.. trying to figure out something to say.  Normally I hang up on these, but I was bored so I played the game. Once she figured out something to say - she said oh, so there's not a David Butts there?  I said nope, never has been.  Then she was like well what about a Seymour Butt - I lost it - started laughing and said yeah he's right here, then hung up the phone.  

I just got a call from this number saying that I had apparently entered into a contest (which I didn't) and that I had won free airline tickets.  When I asked for more information about the company they were very sketchy and didn't want to give it to me.  I'm sure this is probably a scam

I also missed a call from this number today. They did not leave a message so hopefully it was the wrong number....

This number just called my cell phone.  I did not recognize it, so I didn't answer.  No message left.  Maybe they want to reduce my credit card amounts and this was my second and final warning................
