they will notidentify themselves & ask for a person in my home by their first name. They will not leave a message.

Everyday I'm called - just hear someone breathing - doesn't say anything.  Wish it would stop!

i called this number back and a recording came on and said that it was a fund raising effort for the Fraternal Affairs for the Purple Heart. which i sometimes donate old clothes,houseware,etc. to.

Called ask for my husband, and I told her he was not in, and told her this was his wife.  I thought she said from Veterans (not sure), and I told her we are on DO NOT CALL LIST, and she said my husband told her to call first.  I said send mail, but do not call.  She was mad and hung up.

Caller asked for a name that has never been on the account. He said he was calling everyone in the Mobile, AL area which is about a 3.5 hr drive. This was a cell phone so the call dropped.
