Sick of the robocalls. Who else wants to sue them for harassment? It's $500-$1500 per call per number.

Since VA and other veterans organizations won't shut them down, none of them will get any donations from me either, even if I have to burn the stuff. "If noooooooot"... actually it doesn't matter the people at this phone # are obviously crooks and are just in the telemarketing business. We need to get a class action lawsuit going and sue them $500-$1500 for each call they make to us. By the way, we're also on the do not call list.

I contacted PVA about the incessant telemarketing calls and got this reply:

My name is Dana Hickman, Database Manager at PVA.  I apologize for the fact that you are getting unwanted phone calls.

PVA does not do telemarketing, so we are not responsible for the phone calls you are receiving.  I contacted the number you listed below, 256-837-8444, and the group that answered is called AMVETS (www.amvets.org).  They are not associated with PVA.  I asked them to remove you from their calling list, but I'm not sure how successful I was since I'm not you.

We, PVA, do not have your name, address, email or phone number in our database so you can be assured that we will not contact you.

PESTS! 256-837-8444 Paralyzed Veterans of America - MAJOR PESTS! Can't get them to stop calling me, have asked and it's been 23 days and they are calling me again, STOP CALLING ME from 2568378444.  If they are truly a not for profit they shouldn't be wasting time and money on calling people who are on the do not call list - WE MEAN IT!

I receive numerous calls asking for donations. I have asked to be removed from the list several times. I called and repeated my request to be removed.  The lady politely said she would. I will have to wait and see if they actually do it this time.

Paralyzed Veterans of America - 256-837-8444 - PESTS! Auto-dialing PESTS!!!

Ok, just cause you're a charitable organization doesn't give you the right to be a pest. I've gotten 2 calls in the last 4 work days, autodialer, saying press 1 to set up delivery date, else they'll call back in 6 weeks. I pressed 1 to talk to someone about taking my name off this list and it's automated too! They claim they'll be over at my house on March 6th! Well,  just come on over then, and we'll have a little chat in person. They call me every campaign, about every 6 weeks!  256-837-8444 you can't get anyone to answer. I will not contribute anything anymore to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, I will not drop off clothes at their boxes.
