Said they were doing research into attitudes about local hospitals. I declined to participate. I don't need to add more information about myself for companies to buy and sell.

Their computer must be "dialing for dollars" because we are an unpublished number..they drive me nuts with the constant calling..I do not answer so they can talk to the answering machine ..just glad this site was set up to answer the who/what/and why of these types of calls

This number called my mother and took advantage of her lack of knowledge and computer skills. The gentleman was able to remotely connect and maliciously planted files. Do not answer or talk to this person.

I answered and a very nice man was doing a survey on hospitals in our area. Didn't have to give any private info only my opinion on how I felt about certain facilities I could choose for care. I gave him my time and opinion on the questions he asked. At the end of survey I asked why he was doing this and he told me a hospital in the area was paying them for research. Couldn't tell me which one, so I hope I helped make a place better for health care.

The caller ID says The DRG too - solicitation group keeps calling for our director. When I ask her if she wants to leave a message, she will not, just states she will call back again. I have had over 15 calls from the same person! The person she is trying to reach is never in the office and receieves all his calls via email notification. I have relayed this to her and she keeps calling - smart employee!

ditto what everyone has said....I don't know the number I don't answer, so quit calling me....

I dump them to voicemail automatically. I assume it is:
The Dieringer Research Group, Inc.
200 Bishops Way
Brookfield, WI 53005
262-432-5200
888-432-5220
but I don't know for sure.
I heard them babbling in the background while they didn't notice that they were being recorded by my voice mail. They probably hoped to hear something in my greeting which is pure silence. You can use this to trick telemarketers as they have 2-second attention spans and when they don't hear a greeting, their minds often wander, and you can record them. Nothing useful was heard in this case.
Some day we'll all have numbers with services like Google Voice and we'll be able to more-appropriately handle these types calls after the first annoyance.

Tell them that they are calling your cell and you'd like for them to stop. If they are doing polls and surveys, they are not allowed to carry out the survey on your cell phone, unless you consent.
The numbers are generated by computer, and the computer doesn't know what numbers are for cell phones, business, faxes, and so on.

The "DO BOT CALL" list doesn't cover surveys and polls, only telemarketers. If they are only asking for opinions, then they can call you. This is because the government recognizes that opinions make up for the good of new products and services throughout the country.
You can ask to have your number removed from their list, but that only covers this round of polls and surveys. Your number will come back up again in the future.
As far as reporting it, you can call or email the FCC. There are standards that must be met, and if you ask them to take your number off of their list, they have to do so. But if you just let your answering machine.woicemail get the call, your number will get recycled..

This is a group that pays for your participation in focus groups. They will ask a few questions first to see if you qualify for the one they are doing. If you qualify, they will invite you to their offices to participate in their focus group. It's easy and the money is good. I have done this for years. You could be paid $50 for one hour, for example.

They called twice a day for a couple of days, and then stopped. Problem is that I work mid-nights and they call while I'm asleep. I have to leave the ringer on as I have kids to worry about.

Unfortunately for the whole world, being on the Do Not Call list doesn't mean that you will never get calls from anyone that you don't know or haven't given permission to call you. This is a legitimate company conducting research for various other entities. I recently accepted their call after a number of missed calls from them without a voicemail and they were conducting a survey related to an email I received from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The purpose was not to sell me anything or persuade me to take part in anything; it was simply an inquiry into my thoughts and feelings regarding the communication from my insurance company. Regardless of whether you like it or not unsolicited phone calls are a part of owning a phone, not all of them are out for evil purposes.

Asked for my husband yesterday - wouldn't tell me what it was in regards to. Called again today so I decided to see if anyone else received calls from this number.

It's great that you are in the business of meeting your client's needs, but my needs are expressed by having my phone number on the DO NOT CALL registry, which you are ignoring.
| Fedup 2012-03-23 00:34:16 Unknown |
Meep getting calls from this number just annoying. So many calls from soma y people claiming one thing or another. Calls from India as well as the USA. Writing them down reporting all calls it is a pai. But this harrasement has to stop.

Didn't realize Kenosha was a suburb of Milwaukee. When I looked up the number it came up Kenosha. Like everyone else I'm sick and tired of getting calls when I am on the state and federal no-call lists.

Also got call with no message left. Decided to use Google and located the following link:

Used it to fill out their "Contact Us'\" form to tell them in no uncertain terms to stop calling since I DO NOT respond to phone surveys.

The DRG recently opened a 4,000+ square foot Focus Center for conducting in-person focus groups and in-depth interviews (IDIs). Located at our headquarters in the Milwaukee suburbs, the Focus Center was designed and built around our clients? needs, incorporating the latest technology.
