got this call several days, no answer. wasting my time

Stop calling

Am in Toronto. Called today at 2:05 in the afternoon. No info on call display, so did not pick up, even though this is a 'local" phone number. A robocall that disconnected after 4 rings. No msg left.

I called CAA directly and they are not aware of this company and are investigating as I am getting calls as late as 1am from 647-436-1325 identifying themselves as CAA for insurance

It's a PR company on behalf of CAA. I have asked them once before not to call me at work -- they called again during work hours today. Sigh...

CAA? Now THAT makes sense. these pita's are always phoning up to sell something. They phoned jan 27/14 at 2:41 pm. that's about five minutes before some other scam artists phoned. Is this some kind of universal harassment time to be phoning? I just got call display at home. I can't believe the number of idiots who phone, but hang up before the answering machine picks up. I'm grateful for 800notes.com for giving me a way of checking up on these numbers and scammers.

Have had few calls from this number, another one today, so looked it up & see it's a nuisance, as others say.  I don't answer when they call, as I don't recognize number, and they leave no message.  But I must say I am not pleased to read some one say (if true) that this pushy insurance company gets our names from CAA's customer list and refers to them in the call.

maybe you should, at least, dial their number before you start threatening them? hint: this is an online discussion forum, not the caa's mailbox.

I have many calls from this phone number on my home phone.
I never answer and no messages were left. Just came again today with no message at 7:15 pm.
What is happening to all the reporting on line? Why did we register for Do Not Call and supposedly there is legislation on Telemarketers not calling after certain hours? Who is paying attention to all these complaints of unwanted calls on line?/

Keep getting call from 647-436-1325. I know they are calling on behalf pf CAA.
CAA if you are such a reputable organization tell your vendor to stop doing these types of stupid calls.
We will get it if we deemed we need it.

647-436-1325 call at least 3 times a day.  See the number on my call display and hang ups on my machine, when they call at night it is an echo then a hang up.  Drives me crazy.

This could very well be CAA Accident coverage dept (OPTIMA). They will not leave a message. If you pick up the phone they will market you their products.  If you do not want this marketing, then call the following membership number 1-800-268-3750 and ask them to stop calling and to remove your number.  If you wish, ask them to remove your number from all of their dept's marketing call lists.

received call @ 8:22 pm, july 15th, 2013. the caller, a woman, identified herself to be calling on behalf of CAA was offering accidental death benefit insurance for $200,000, she said the call is being recorded and asked me if I was married or living common law? i said do i told her i am not interested in what she is offering. she asked can i tell her why i am not interested. i made it clear to her that i don't have to answer that to her and ended the conversation.

It's some insurance company "calling on behalf of CAA" to try to sell insurance. They call intermittently. Have told them not to call again several times. Have also called CAA numerous times over the last 2+ years to tell them to remove my # from any of their "authorized associates" contact info and it simply never happens. I guess CAA is trying to lose customers. No problem, they're losing me as soon as my renewal comes up, and this is why. Looks good on ya CAA! Way to go!

Calling and calling... called again today... Truly a sparkling way to enhance the CAA's reputation...

... and call and call and call and call. I never answer. Found out above it is CAA. Must remember to call and cancel my membership. They are abusing the privilege of their relationship with me as a client. So bad - and SO dumb. You would think they had never googled themselves to see how much they are annoying their members. Just another "MBA Genius" in charge of their marketing I expect. Another twit who has no idea what s/he is doing...

Many calls from this number, never a message or party on the other end when we do answer.  Have used call block to avoid these 'brainless' type of calls.

We purchase phone service for our convenience, not theirs.

Optima Communications is a 'valued partner', one of the many companies that offer deals to us as CAA members. Not answering when we pick up the call, and using threatening and scare tactics as described by 'Annoyed' are not in character with CAA's business practice.
I've called CAA to let them know this is going on. They were not aware and are not happy, and will be looking into Optima Communications.

Extremely annoying, they called multiple times in past few days, picked up, then sales pitch for insurance. I refused insurance, then called them back to be put on "do not call" Optima CAA list. I had to wait for all voice messages to finish, then I finally got option to be placed on "do not call list".

They left literally 5sec for me to record my name and phone number in order to be removed from the CAA list. Won't be enough time for most names/phones. What a buch of idiots!

I think I will be canceling my CAA, as I have not used it in the past. They have just reminded me how useless they are.

Insisted on speaking with my husband - I said not until you tell me what you want. she said it was CAA giving a courtesy call thanking us for our memebership

CAA should be ashamed of selling customer information to a third party.  I am a CAA customer, and I will be complaining ... for all good that will do.

This number just called me and I let the machine get it. They left no message. They obviously have a computer that can tell when an answering machine has picked up.

Thank god my cell phone has a reject list function where I've now added them to it so they go straight to voice mail and seeing as they don't bother leaving messages, its like they never call now. Hoping other people annoyed by this number can do the same!

I've had many calls from 647-436-1325. I never answer them because I know it's scammers just trying to sell junk. I have more important things to do then listen to that crap...

I pay Norton Anti-virus a truck load of money and now am getting a pop up to say that if I give them an extra 4.99 they will preform an extra service!!! Too much!!!
