This number has been calling me several times a day for several days with no message left. Called back, no answer, voicemail said "this is Rick. leave a message". Uh, sure.

Political calls are exempt from the no call lists.

They are political survey. The person I got was nice, they don't tell you to vote for anyone they just ask for survey purposes (who you are voting for, democrat/republican/independent, how strong are your views, year you were born, did you vote in 2008, etcetc..)...Very nice people, don't be afraid to answer and talk to them.

Someone from the DNC called yesterday when I was at work (they've called 18x the last month & NEVER leave a msg, so I picked up) and I LET HER HAVE IT!!!



1) I am on the Do Not Call List--do NOT argue w/me about how several organizations use this number for caller ID so it might not be you. I've been a "phone monkey" for most of my career & know the difference between a PBX & VOIP, trunks, queues, etc. NICE TRY.

2) If I, as a consumer, request to be taken off the "list"--YOU ARE REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW TO DO SO, not to tell me there are SEVERAL different lists & that removing me is "just" not possible.

3) Do you really think, Sarah from the DNC, that I'm not going to print out a record of how many times your "org" has called AFTER I asked you not to? Because that's what the FCC requires.

Call comes in - no message is left.  We are on the no-call list

This number will call up to four times a day. Never leaves a message. We are on the do not call list (that does not appear to work).

This is a fund raising group for Obama and the democrats run out of the Kenosha, WI area. After calling me 12 times in 12 days, I finally took the call and asked to be put on their no call list. Will see what happens.

Called the number back.  It's a telemarketing service for businesses and political groups.  The message says to leave your number to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list, which I did.  We'll see how long it takes to take effect if at all.  I'm a staunch Democrat, but I don't like these kinds of calls from anyone.

Is the Democratic Party of Wisconsin exempt from abiding by the laws concerning the State and Federal 'do not call' lists ?  I suspect not because they mask their caller ID to only show the number, no name. If I had any inclination to vote Democratic in the future, they just took care of any indecision that I may have had.

Call from 262-586-2224. Answered the call. It was a female calling on behalf of the Democratic Party. Pick up the phone and answer it.

I have been receiving frequent calls from this number which I didn't answer.  Finally, I did answer and after a few seconds, a woman came on the line and identified herself as being from Democracy for America.  She, of course, was asking for donations (memberships fees).

Calls have come in on Sunday nights and the caller will not leave messages. We are on the no call list.
