Do NOT do it. It's a scam

I got the same call that the previous posters did...only from 630-537-7714...claiming the exact information.  When I said I was not interested, he said, "F you man" and hung up, just as a previous poster indicated.

Now the facts.  Openly available internet information indicates that this number is affiliated with -- or has, at various times, been affiliated with -- ADVERT LLC, ADBEEP LLC, or any number of other names run out of Naperville, Illinois.  The person I spoke with had a distinct accent that matched the individual who answered the phone when I called back -- rudely again, I might add.  I identified him through publicly available records as Mr. Rajiv Sharma.  Mr. Sharma indicated that the number was his personal home phone number, but you could clearly hear the sounds and voices of a call center in the background.  He absolutely panicked when I knew is name, home address, and previous business names.  This operation has all the warning signs of a scam and a fraud.  All of the information I have posted here has been formally reported to to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the FBI.

got the same call tonight same 4 prizes wanted to meet locally this Thursday put me on hold came back said manger was busy with other call would call me back in five minutes..... and he did call back  I had already Google and read your comments so i also told him that the FBI was looking into them ans i knew it was a scam  and he got really upset and hung up!

Some guy called from a call center and said that I had won a lot of prizes and that I had to come to a Lomard, IL. address to claim my prizes. He sound suspicious and I was very skeptical. Said he got my number from some sweepstate that I filled out.  He asked me if he could call me back in a few minutes, when he called back, there was another man on the phone and I told him I was not interested because I saw other individuals that had posted on the internet that this was a scam.  He told me to "go f--- myself" and hung up on me.  I  called the number back and told him I had just called the FBI.  SCAM! SCAM  (630) 537-7714.

Just got the same call from Global Group but from an Asheville, NC number. 828-348-9071. He insisted I filled out a coupon at Walmart or Best Buy, etc. and I was one of 30 lucky winners. I just had to show up at the Highland Ave address in Lombard at 5:45 or 7:45pm this Tuesday thru Thursday. Upon arrival I would just scratch off my coupon and win whatever is revealed: a 32" Sony HDTV, $2,500 cash, a vacation package provided by Hilton, a 2013 Ford truck or $75,000 cash (if I won the truck but wanted the cash value instead). Since when did Ford start selling trucks for $75,000??? He had to transfer me to his manager to get a claim number but I hung up at that point. They called back twice! Of course while on the phone with him (you could so tell he was in a call center in India) I googled Global Group on my iPad and found more info on this scam. He asked if I had any questions and I bombarded him with questions asking if this was about timeshares or if I needed to sit through any presentations and so on. He insisted that no, I wouldn't. In the beginning of the call, the "sponsor" needed to know if I was married and if we made at least $1,100 a week. WTF? I kept asking who the sponsor was but he diverted my attempts by changing the subject. Unreal! I really hope people don't fall for this scam.

I just got that same call talking bought I just. won sotmething I wonder wat kind of scam that is that's crazy wat kind of people are behind dis Cuz wat if this global group turns bring harm to people I think legal action should get involved like tha police cause imaging how many people they might tricked

I received the same call from Lombard too , I figured it was scam cause I never filled out any coupon at wal-mart plus the guy's name was James and he sounded like freaking idiot..lol

Global groups called and said I have been selected to win one of four prizes a trip, money ,vacation,suv . And that I had to come to 1919 highland to claim this is a scam.

630-439-7095 got same call from that number offered cash ford vacation or 32' lcd from sony said I filled some s*** out in a store which I don't remember and he kept insisting i did and he said you have to be over 20 i said i'm not and he said "awww can one of your parents call and claim" lol so desperate

i got the same call from  global group in lombard, but their # was 630-439-7095.  I didn't go.

This claim appears to be a scam. Upon cross-referencing their given address, this website promoting time-shares pops up (http://www.reservations4u.com/LOMBARDIL.html). It is interesting to note the last statement on their web page:
"This is by invitation only, please do not arrive without an appointment and  confirmation letter."

Further looking into the above website via a Who Is search yielded the following results:

I also got a call saying I could win a suv, 32 inch tv, or 3500 dollar for somthing I sign up for at Easter which I also didn't do he said my wife and I should met him at lake geneva best buy and we both had to be there  to claim the prize...

Got 2 calls 1.5 hours apart.  Could barely understand the guy.  Said he was Jason from ____ Electronics.  Something about a purchase I made around Easter n(I did not). I could get a coupon,  Blah, blah.  I hung up both times.

got the same call - what if it's legit?  listen to 90 min of promo and walk out w/ a tv?  did they follow up with you, I'm considering but skeptical.....

Jason from Global Group called me twice and promised Id win any of 4 big prizes if I came out to a location 20 miles away. Sounded like a scam to me - they couldn't tell me where they got my number.

Caller was from Global Solutions which is a front for a vacation club timeshare, told them I wasn't interested and to remove me from the call list and caller then, told me to F-off 2 times
