All you have to do is reply with STOPALL

Then you will receive this:

AOL/AIM:
Mobile Messaging is off. No further messages will be received from your buddies. Reply 'HELP' or go to http://aoltxt.com/on to enable IM Forwarding.

Hi Folks,

If you look at a touch-tone phone, you will see that 2-6-5 are the letters A-O-L.
You can block IMs from AOL (I just did a LOT of research, and I'm a private computer tech.)

AOL has instructions at:
http://help.aol.com/help/microsites/microsite ... rnalId=222496#3

But here it is copied from their site:

Aol.

You should be able to decipher my adddressss above.
NEVER post your actual adddressss online in forums. there are programs that look for key words and phrases to steal those adddresssssses. The typos just above R deliberate.

Go to National Do Not Call Registry (https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx). this will stop your phones from receiving these txts.

I don't ever use AIM, but keep getting messages from 265-019 and from 265-060 eldondehgupsxmf...how do I block these? OUT doesn't work; gives a message that says "this AIM conversation has been inactive for 72 hrs and can no longer be blocked."
If everyone is reporting this number, why isn't AT & T or Verizon doing something?

i received a text at 2 AM last night.  The number showed as 265-019. I didn't open it, but can see the first couple words are "AIM: You have". At the same time I got another from 265-060 that the first word is "lisanne5225".  I've never used AIM, and I can't open texts on my phone. I guess I'll just have to keep deleting them.

I received 4 text messages over the last few days for Viagra and other drugs.  I have never used AIM or AOL.  I went to the AIM website and found their blocking procedures.  I fell better about blocking through their website rather than replying to their text messages.  As someone said before, that might verify my phone number to someone and make things worse.

I actually just did what I was instructed to do (see previous message from me).

I received a text reply:
"AIM TXT is now off.  Your buddies cannot send you mobile msgs.  Reply 'on' or 'help' for more options."

Since I have not used AIM for maybe 4 yrs - I can live with the above message if it means not receiving any more spam.

Same issue here...I just called ATT and was told to sent 265019 (in my case the text were originating from 265-019, 265-020 and 265-021) a text with the word OUT.  This will remove you from sure spam originating from AIM/AOL accounts (the 265-xxx texts).

I'll see if this resolves this issue.  I also stated my concern to ATT in having to OPT OUT of this crap spam as opposed to having the choice to OPT IN.  Whats to prevent spam originating from say google talk or MSN or Skype from coming through.

I just got two texts as well. Part of me is afraid to replynwith block as that can be used to verify an emaijl (don't ever ask an unknown email sender to take you off their list either, that absolutely verifies your email at they will then sell to other spammers). If I get more I may call AT&T.

Lil .... I was reviewing my teenage son's phone records online this morning, and came across this number. It had texted him twice and he replied once. When researching the area code, I found your post, and realized that the same number that had texted you, also has texted my son. I am really concerned and was wondering if you had found out any infomation regarding this
