I answered the call and the person on the line was looking for someone named Joseph. I told her she had the wrong number and she said "well, your number has been entered in a drawing to win $25,000 cash, a Ford Mustang convertible, a trip to Australia and hundreds of other prizes." She then tried to get me to do a phone survey, at which point I hung up.

Received calls from 265-214-2810 and 501-908-1047 I didn't answer either call.

Received calls from 265-214-2810 and 501-541-1674 answered neither and messages were not left. I assume both are scams or telemarketing; however, I wonder how they got my number as I use VOIP service through t-Mobile and the number they called has never been listed in a directory. Makes me think companies may be going off-shore with their telemarketing calls to avoid being prosecuted under the U.S. Do Not Call List law.

This number 265.214.2810 is a scam number from Malaysia. I got a call from this number on 12/16/10 at 10:15a, and when I attempted to call it back, I got the doo,doo,doo, we're sorry, but this number is not a valid US number. Called AT&T, and was told it is a number from Malaysia. Not only this number, but 501.908.1047 is also a scam number. The 501 number called my cell, and left a message on my voicemail in an extremely Twangy, perky female voice, telling my she had good, and bad news. Good news was that I have won a $1500 internet shopping spree. Bad news was I didn't answer, so now I will have call a 1.888 number to claim the prize, and conduct a survey. It's the holliday season folks, and these folks are hot, and heavy out there!!

I see I am not the only one who received a call from this number.  Did not answer.  Found this site when searching area code 265.

I keep getting phone calls from this strange numbers like this one, but when I pickup they inmidiately hang up....
How can i put a stop to this nonsense.

They have been calling me since yesturday and I keep missing their call.. its getting aggravating! I called the number back and it said it didn't exist

Same story from me. I got a phone call from this number this morning, no answer. Then I called back and said number does not exist.

Just got the same phone call. Didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer.

I as well just got the call and then décided not to answer. And googled the number and found this out.

I just recieved a call from 265 214 2810 and missed it.  I tried to call back and it says number does not exist.  Tried searching area code and its said no such area code.  How do there people get out numbers?  What can we do  about it?

i looked this number up on whitepages.com and it says the area code is invalid. i didnt answer and i'm glad i didnt.

called phone, did not anwer as I did not know number, when I called back said it didn't exist??
