Got the same Text message yesterday, but no problem dialing the number. I tried 3 times from my home phone & said the number is NO Good, that I had dialed incorrectly.....OH Well.

Got a txt from contact995@taxe.com stating my wells fargo debit card has been blocked and to call the security department at 267-335-5039.

I received a text message on my cell phone informing me that my Wells Fargo debit card has been temporarily blocked - Please call security department : (267) 335-5039"

I do not bank at Wells Fargo.

Did a phone number search.  It's supposably for:

I received a text from this number pretending there was an issue with my Wells Fargo debit card.  They are total scammers trying to get people's info, it is NOT anyone connected with Wells Fargo bank.  Please stop these criminals.

Same message, same text address, same phone number as noted above...

Got a text saying my wells fargo account has been blocked, but I don't even have an account with them.  I am in Seattle.

I just got a text telling me my Wells Fargo debit card has been temporarily blocked. I do not have a Wells Fargo debit card. Clearly a scam. Very irritating.

i just got the same thing....i do bank with wells fargo so called them using the number on their website. nothing wrong with my card or account. this is totally a scam.....thanks for all the reports.

I just got the exact same message and have never banked with Wells Fargo.....total scam. I hope everyone will report them before some elderly person gets scamed.

It is a scam!!
They will ask you for your social security number, debit card number, account number, pin number & all kinds of other identity steeling info. It is very obvious if you do call but PLEASE do not give them any of your info!!

Of course, I have no Wells-Fargo debit card or account. My son received the same email minutes later. He has no Wells-Fargo card or account, either.
