I get similar calls. Someone says, "This is the second notice that your warranty is expiring." I've gotten that "second notice" about 5 or 6 times now, so they don't actually know anything. They are just fishing.

i have a cell phone issued by my employer.  i get calls from this number often.  one day i chose a prompt to speak to someone, a fellow answered and the call went as below
fellow:  are you interested in extending your warrantee?
me: who are you trying to reach?
fellow: what?
me: who are you trying to reach, this is a business phone?
then the fellow hung up.  i do NOT use my work cell for any of my personal transactions, i can only assume from that...  its a total scam

To Doug above- I don't think they received a list from a car dealership because I'm getting the same calls and our cars are paid off. One is 8 years old and the other is 5 which we bought from my mother in law. This number called my cell which I have only had for 2 months and limited people have the number. They might be cold calling trying to steal credit card numbers.

I received a call from this number. I got a guy who said his name was John and he said the company's name was "Warranty Services" out of Atlanta GA. He would not give me the address or central phone number of the company.

I contenually recive calls from this number~ I have spoken with the people who work for the company and personally have requested not be called. The individuals are incompetant as they say "all I can do is push the button for no call". Currently I am signed up for my states no call listing, and have also informed these idivduals that it is a form of harrasment. Personally I feel these companies need to have a class action law suit filed agianst them!!!

i just got this call 1:13pm. No voice mail left. Looking online at these 'who called' site, Im seeing several mentions of auto warranty. Two days ago, I was browsing online for extended auto warranties for older cars, and to get a quote from AAA I had to fill out name and number, however on the number I put a fake one, cause I dont want telemarketing calls. I wonder though, if they have a way of accessing records to find out what your phone number is...

Hello, this call came in @ 5:47 PST.  I live in SO. California.  I "MISSED" the call NOT that I would have accepted the call.
I have a PRE-PAID phone which I have had the number since March 2008.  I have CALLER ID for this reason!
I DON'T know the NUMBER, I DON"T answer the futhermucking CALL cause I KNOW it's a SCAM!!!!

Called my 818 cell phone... I have no car registered in my name.

This number called me too. I didn't bother calling it back.

This phone number keeps calling me on my cell phone. It says it's factory warranty on my automobile, but I am still under warranty through the auto company and I checked with them regarding this and they said it is fake.

I got a call from this number today on my cell phone. Didn't answer, since I didn't recognize the number or area code and have been getting a lot of scam call lately. Googled instead.

Total Scam. When I see this number I answer and immediatly hang up toavoid a stupid message.

I did the same thing as "Mike 8/19/08" said he did and got the same answer but once the company said to hold for the tone they hung up on me!!!! I've received these calls for the past 6 months on my home phone and just last month started receiving on my cell phone!

I've received at least a dozen calls from this number.  An automated message tells me they believe the service warranty on my car is about to expire.  No kidding... my car is 10 years old!

Missed a call from this number on my cell phone.  When I tried to return it, an automated message told me I was going to be put on their no-call list.  Any idea what company this is?

I ANSWERED THE CALL AND IT LISTENED TO THE OPERATOR. IT SAID IF i WANTED TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST TO PRESS 2. I DID AND IT HUNG UP RIGHT AWAY.

Someone from this number called my cell phone and it rang only once. Didn't know who it was, so googled the number and found this site. Anyone know who this is?

automated vehicle warranty notice. You know this is just a scam to sell "warranty" insurance; has nothing to do with any existing warranties. ie very shady marketing device, if not out-right fraud.

Just called my area code 321 cell # (Florida).  Left no voice mail.  I bought a new vehicle about 10 months ago... I wonder if they have access to some new vehicle list or if they're just cold calling trying to find a fish.

I just received a call from this number and it said something about a warranty that is going to expire. I dont have anything that has a warranty on it so i hung up.

I hate these companies, waste my bloody air time minutes....  A call about my car warranty, I don't even own a car.....  Great marketing ploy....
