I received a call from them again after not calling for 3/4 months.  I wrote them and demanding to stop harassing me and requested that they give me the info on the supposable debt and they refused, by demanding me to call them.  They need to be shut down.

They have been calling everyday 10 times a day.  I've told them not to call several times but they still keep calling.

Yes They Are Tate & Karlin But The Area Code Is Philadelphia, PA Or Levittown, PA,  If You Can Get The Address You Can Mail Them What Is Called A Cease & Desist Letter Mailed Certified Return Receipt And They Can Never Call You, Mail You Or Best Of All Put Anything On Your Credit Report, You Don't Owe Them Anything Only The Original Debtor, Which They Purchased It From.

I have no idea why this firm/person is calling me.  I have no debt obligations, and am sick and tired of the calls.  Does this person get paid by the number of calls he/she makes...that would be the only reason why anyone would be calling me.

Why do they keep calling? It is easily understood, if people had the money to pay they would not let the debt go in default. Additionally these companies write off the debt(s) on their Profit & Loss account. Didn't they get a lot of money from Mr. Barack H. Obama? Things are tough all over.

This number called my cell phone. I answered and they asked for someone. I told them they have the wrong number!!!

They are con-artists hoping they call sombody with actuall debt that would give them their banking and other personal information. Keep records of these calls if posible and contact a lawyer and your State Atturney General for assistance. Not only are they trying to obtain your information but they will also continue calling at all hours of the day and will use fowl language which is harassment. You can also contact your local police department and charge them with harrasment.

This number 267-672-5091 calls everyday. Do not answer they work for a collection agency. If you don't have the money why do they keep calling at all hours of the day! Take Care,

They keep calling trying to collect a debt to Texaco, we have nothing in writing from these people to our knowledge this card was paid off back in 4/2007 our bank accout has been closed and they want a cancelled check!

This number has been calling me for a couple of days now and they leave a voicemail identifying themselves as Pennacle Associates. At least that's what my phone thinks they say. I believe this is the same number that has called me before identifying themselves as North Star credit. If they can't get you with one angle, they just try another.

A***oles keep harassing me and calling my number about a collection that has nothing to do with me, I have told them numerous of times to not call my number but yet they still continue to call all hours of the day.

My advice  don't talk to them  call the company to whom you owe money and try to settle with them directly That is where your debt lies. I have u verse and it identifies private name private numbers on my tv screen  These people are not looking for me or any relative they are just calling numbers of friends and acquaintances looking to get a hit

I just ignore any agencys unless its filed it is better off oncehin judgment u can alwayhs get a secured credit card .let it go in judgment law help is the better waay

received message from a "Kevin Johnson" and was asked to call @ "866.520.3790 x 530", no other information. I do know they've called repeatedly. They call at all hours of the day...as early as 8am and as late as 930pm. Annoying...if I owe something, send a letter to the house. Not harrass with a phone call.

I've recently started to receive calls from Tate and Karlin (in Philadelphia) for a debt that has gone to court and I lost.  Want to hear how?  Sears opened credit accounts in my name, payments were made, then stopped.  I get phone calls from Sears asking about payments.  I tell them I don't have any accounts with them, but would investigate if they would send me copies of the application.  As soon as Sears found out that they were fraudulently opened, the conveniently couldn't find "my" applications (they did find a bunch from around the same timeframe).  When I got sued, I contacted their lawyers and DEMANDED copies of the applications.  Ignoresd.  They go to court, claiming I never answered their complaint (a lie).  The judge found me guilty by default, even though I called her court to find out if there was going to be a hearing and when.  Her clown of a clerk claimed he didn't know (in other words, you're screwed, dude).  It gets worse but you get the idea.  I finally called the police a few days ago to file an identity theft report.  I also told T&K that I wasn't liable, never was, the court case was full of lies and perjury, and if the calls continued I would file a complaint for harrassment.  Apparently, they've stopped calling because I haven't heard from them in a while..  By the way, just for information, the accounts were opened in 1989, 21 years ago!

I receive numerous calls the phone ID shows as Tate & Karlin.  I have an answering machine but they never leave a message.  Probably a scam of some sort.

yes this number called my apartment and ask to talk to james rainey which happens to be my other half and he talked to them and ask them to send him something in writing to let hm know he owe a company money but they dont listen and continued to keep calling my apartment. i want them to stop but they dont

Creeps refuse to send any paperwork.  "We have a judgment against you in (city where I live)"  Problem is, somebody else is also trying to collect same debt.  Which, by the way, is NOT my debt.
