I just answered the phone , and silence, then call was ended by caller, did a 1471, and it was a 0077 number, what are these calls? are they a scam? and how can they be stopped if at all?

I just got a call from 268-762-0077, didn't answer no voice mail

This # called my cell let it ring twice and hung up. I goggled the # and found this site where others had the same call. I blocked the number thru Verizon. This call came directly after I placed a ad on Craigslist to sell furniture.

Add my cell to the list. Fortunately, it showed up in missed calls. I looked it up on my rev lookup app and got to this site thru "Big G" (google)

I received a call from this number right now. This is at least the 10th time I've gotten a call from Antigua/Barbados and Grenada areas. I am so annoyed I think it's time to call Verizon wireless.

I missed a call from 268 726 0077 last night at 10:00 pm. I called back. I got  beep then call ended. I have a unlimited prepaid phone so I guess my call will not go through as my unlimited calls only apply to the U.S. But I suggest you do not call them back.

I received a one ring call from this#I did not call back, I googled it first and it led me to the scam warning.

If this was a call from a company and wanted you to call back they would want to use their name. No I didn't call back. Just deleted their call.

Saw that this was a Caribbean Island area code.  Did not answer or called back.  This was to my cell phone.

just got a call from this number at 11:35pm, rang twice and hung up as I was hitting the ignore button since it looked odd (didn't display any dashes, making me think it's am automated call).  glad I didn't pick it up!

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Only thing I can guess, is that they got my number from a Craigslist post, or yahoo. I'm very skeptical when any weird number shows up on my phone since my number is only 6 months old.

Called my cell phone, only let it ring once, no message. This has happened twice so far.

I recieve a lot of calls I call back. Its usually from someone who changed their number. I did receive a call from this number. I called it back. It wounded like a woman on drugs or had just woken up. Now I think I better call Verizon and report this!!

Got it too. I don't answer unknown numbers or call them back. Always someone trying to get my money.
