Yet another call about my car warranty - these are happening almost daily, but usually from different numbers.  Hope this scam gets shut down fast.

Received this call. I didn't recognized the number so I didn't answered it. How did they get my number? I use it only for family matters. I have received other calls from different "unknown" numbers. I wish I'd have the money and time they spend bothering people. If they want to help me so badly, they could surprise by paying my bills.

I've been getting several calls each week from someone, each time it's a different name and number, but the exact same recording, same male voice. Something about important info about my home mortgage and the gov't stimulus plan. I hang up as soon as I hear the voice. I'm sure it's a scam and these calls are definitely illegal.

"Belinda Wiley" called me and said my car warranty has expired and to renew it immediately. I refused. She called me obscene names and hung up.

She still keeps calling.

Talks about vehicle registration expiry. I tried to speak with an agent. He tried to get my vehicle information. I did not give him and he hung up. Seems like a scam. However not sure how to put an end to it. I get calls once or twice every month.

I don't have caller id, but I've gotten countless calls about my vehicle registration.  I always hang up, but it's getting irritating.  I don't know the number, but would love to hear that others have reported these scam artists.

i never answered it, because calling on a Thursday @ 10:30 in the morning, I'm obviously at school where I can't answer it.

Got this call this afternoon at 2:05. Did not answer but when I called back I got a busy signal.

Car warranty scam, keeps calling from different Caller ID, probably phishing with a false caller ID number display, Automated call, no company name provided. 100% SCAMSTER

Received a call from this number.  I did a google search and this number came up as a residential number for someone in Michigan.  When I tried to call back, I got a recording that said that the number was disconnected.

Got a call yesterday from this number & asked to be taken off their calling list, she said to push 2 the next time I got the call.  Got a call from that same freaking # just now.  I pushed 2 & got disconnected.  Total B.S.

Called it, I get a busy signal or a "disconnected" message. Phonespam. add it to the do not answer list.

Received call on my cell at4:42 PM on 5/3/09.  Talked with "representative" and they asked me to confirm my phone number.  Would not give and they hung up.

Called my cell phone, hung up when i answered. Busy signal when i call back.

this is ascamno ;obviously some good for nothing other than trying to put there hand in your pocket. Ignore and get on with your life...:)

just got a call from this number, just got silence on the other end.

Received call, answered before looking at phone number and caller hung up without saying anything.

Heard on the news last night that this is a scam (already knew THAT) but it's going to be investigated.  So, when got the call decided to answer and take notes and try to get as much info as I can and report it to whomever is to be investigating.  It's the call about your car warranty expiring, 2nd notice, etc and it's about the hundredth such call from all different numbers.  Anyhow, it was a foreign-sounding guy (it probably IS in another country to avoid prosecution!!!) and he said his name is "Anderson", yeah right.  I kept asking for the name and address of his company and he kept ignoring me saying he would transfer me to his "warranty specialist".  I said fine, but first I will need the name and address of your company so I can investigate and make sure you aren't a scammer like the news last night said you were.  He hung up on me!!!!  Guess that answers the question of the legality of this company.
