File reports with the FTC & FCC!  Also go to your bank or CC company and put a block on them and dispute the bill.

I called DTV because the premier package I had just cancelled appeared on my bill again. It seems that this number called me and offered free channels at no additional charge...however it was really a premier upgrade...and then additional channels for free. Something the caller "forgot" to mention. I called DTV cust. service and was told that since it was a third party service they could not credit me the billed amount...DTV actually gave me this 768 number to call back and try to get the refund....no answer at the 768 number...no refund for fraudulent sales practices..go figure...

I recieved a call from this number just like everyone else here.  The caller ID shows it was from Directv.  When I answered the call there was no one on the other line.  If I'm not home they don't leave a message.  If you try to call the number is says it is out of service.  So, I called Direct TV.  They said their marketing department noted they last called me over a month ago.   They have since set my account up as a "do not call" for promotions.  It is unlikely that it is actually Direct TV.  I mean, after all if this is their marketing plan they kind of suck at getting business... you are supposed to  speak to a customer when you are trying to drum up business.  Regardless of who it is, caling my home at dinner time and hanging up is uncalled for.  So, I reported them to the National Do Not Call List... of which I'm supposed to be on.  Who knows?

Yes, some one from this number call my house at least once a week trying to solicite money for cancer. They are very persistant and don't like no for an answer (or anything related to no). It would be greatly appreciated it they could be stopped

I keep receiving calls from this (falsified) number as belonging Directv.  I called Directv and was told it is not one of their numbers.  When I call back, the joker on the other end hangs up when I ask him who  he is. I want this fraudulent company found and all people involved prosecuted to the full extent of the law!  Hard working Americans do not deserve to be ripped off by con artists!

Caller ID says "Direct TV."  I have Direct TV & this is not their customer service... it isn't one of their retailers from anywhere near where this area code belongs to (Bellevue/Battle Creek Michigan) either.  When called back using *67, it is non-stop busy.  There seems to be an inordinate amount of robo-calls which are using the spoofing software readily available.  Do not be fooled in to thinking you can call any of these "solicitors," and enter your number to remove it from their list.  These are scams, and if you enter your number, or answer the phone, you have verified a valid number for them.

I have received several calls from this number recently.  They don't leave a message.  It's probably a recording trying to sell me something, but, I would like to know who it is.

Strange calls come in at odd hours of the day or night.  No one ever leaves a message, so we figure it is some sort of telemarketing scheme.  We are on the government's official DO NOT CALL Registry so we figure that we should NOT be receiving any type of sales calls from any type of telemarketers at all.

It's an outside marketing company hired by DirecTV.  DirecTV won't have any record of who they called.

Called at 8:10pm asked for my husband by name,  I said he wasn't home. He then asked for me.  I said, "No, it's dinner time can I take a message." He responded "No message we'll call back later," then hung up on me.  I called number back to speak to a supervisor but it only got a recording to leave message.  I called their customer service line and found out that they had no record of direct tv calling our home at all this year.  it's most likely some kind of scam.

It's definitely DirecTV.  I have it and they called me with this crazy offer of free movie channels and NFL Sunday ticket for the next 5 months for FREE.  No idea why they are giving it to me, but I'll take it.

I don't know who is calling from this number but they call every day and leave a message saying "hello, hello, hellooo." My friend tried calling the number and it said it wasn't in service.

Called at 8:47pm on 10/17/08, sounds like a recording, it cut off and hung up, QUIT CALLING (called earlier in the week too, but I didn't answer)
