This call was an automated message indicating that it was my third and final notice regarding the end of my automobile warranty.  I had two options: (1) press 1 to speak with an operator to discuss renewing my warranty or (2) press 3 to cancel my warranty.  I decided to press 1 just so I could get an operator and find out what was going on.  When I did so, I hear several beeps, and then the call was disconnected.  I attempted calling the number back and heard an automated message but couldn't make out everything that was said.  It asked me to enter my phone number, and since I thought things were getting fishy, I entered 000-000-0000 and was disconnected again.  Does anyone have any insight on what this could be about?

Called to tell me I was paying to much on my mastercard for interest. If wanted to speak to a rep push 1 or not interested push 3. I pushed 1 and waited after awhile it just hung up!!!

Never answered the call.  But I'm subscribed to a National Do-Not-Call List and it is a Statutory Holiday (Remembrance Day) and some telemarketer from this ph # tried calling.  I've reported them.  If anyone knows the name of the company who is calling, let me know so I can add that to my complaint.

received a call from this number purporting to be Dish Network and saying that an installation was scheduled at my house. I called Dish Network and unsurprisingly, this number does not belong to one of the subcontractors they do business with. We've received this call at least 6 times since we moved a month ago, but in addition, numerous calls about expiring auto warranties, mortgages, and credit card balance reduction services. I checked my call log and discovered that the auto warranty call this morning was from another 269 number. This area code is in southern Michigan, and it is concerning that we have received so many, all from the same area code. It's odd that the caller id name (even if ficticious) is displayed- generally you can't dial the number of a phishing call. When I called back, the company "name" was garbled, and I was asked to enter my phone number. I've learned to never do that. This is all very suspect, and I'm not sure who to report it to or what it all means.

i called back ... it asked me to input my phone number, so i did ...

and i got a note "your number has been removed from the list. thank you"

it seems it is some kind of scam/telemarketing company ...

Received a call from them a few minutes ago.  No message this time, but in the past when I have answered, an automated message states my warranty is about to expire and it is final notice.  I wanna know how they got my cell number???

Just called and hung up. It was a good thing I did my homework and looked it up on here. I almost thought it was my hubby's ex-girlfriend calling him, because she's in Michigan lol. I was ready to come unglued.

This is another # that I've received the car warranty recording ad on, left on my cell's voice mail. They've called me on a lot of different #'s using different area codes, mostly from Florida, California, & other regions. At least using 10 or more different #'s. This has been going on for around 2 months.
