Got a call from this number. didn't pick up as it is international call. Came on this site and saw it is from ADT...i live in Canada and they call from down in Florida... ummm scam munch???

Mary called stating I had signed up for a free service. When the human came on I asked again to be taken off the call list she said sure then hung up.
I also called the local Maxim and they said they are not doing phone solicitations.

Get numerous calls on my cell phone despite pressing option to remove me or asking reps to take me off list.

this number with the caller id as Protection Center keeps calling, I am on the no call list and would like for them to stop calling 2-3x a day.

I GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALL THE TIME ON MY CELL PHONE.

These jerks are calling me two to three times a day.  I reported them to the no call complaint web page.  I hope they get fined heavily for this abuse of my phone and time.

I'm sick and tired of this phone # calling me at least twice a day.....if i could get an address on who is reg. to this # i would go there and kill them in cold blood and take the body and feed it to the fish

Seattle J, if more people were like you, this robo-calling would slow down. I pressed "1" and got connected to CA based Maximum Security Alarm, Inc., www.mymaximumsecurityalarm.com. They claim to sell GE wireless security system programs, and the sign on your lawn would read "Maximum Security Alarm." These clowns called my landline this a.m., cell last week, and cell this p.m.

More calls from the alarm service crew.   Just another day in the scammers paradise.

We rent space in a building. It is not my home or a home number.

I like the previous suggestions to press 1 and lead them on.

I am going to try this with all of these companies.

That way I can waste their time like they are doing to me at work.

This telemarketer calls daily and I'm sick of it. Please stop the calls completely

ROBO call to cell-phone advertising that "we will be in your neighborhood to show you a home security system. Male voice. ADT? They haven't been reticent about using other robots to place their pre-recorded calls. JHM hit it on the nail - Press 1 to make them PAY, then work 'em for information on who they actually are by feigning interest in their product du jour. Then publish their name, rank & serial number on this site.

Got call from this number while jogging. Broke my routine. did not bother to call back, as only 5 people know my number, and I do not call anybody from that phone: I keep for emergencies only.
What an unprofessional way to advertise. If this is ADT, then I will surely remember not to have any business with you for unwanted disturbance.

This is a robo-call from a lead generation service.   They get businesses to PAY them for each customer they transfer to them for whatever product or service that thyey are flogging today.

Their favorite right now is the Mortgage Modification - they call you, play a recorded message - if you press the right button your call is transferred to one of their PAYING clients - who has then just been charged anywhere from $0.50 to $20.00 per call.   SO, if they are going to call me and I have to put up with this BS, they are going to be paying!  I gave up pressing the "number of the day to be removed from their list - number" and instead I press the number to be connected to a LIVE operator - which I then proceed to give enough info that I can keep them busy for a while and waste their time and money.   Useless baboons.   Thoroughly useless.

They called my cell phone but did not say anything.  So I hung up.

I'm on the National Do Not Call List so I filed an electronic complaint against this number with my state attorney general.  It takes very little time and has at least a chance to discourage these people.  If they're identified the fines, both federal and state, can be very expensive.

I returned the phone call (after listening to the recorded message) and asked to be put on the do not call list.  That was fine except that two months later the calls started up again.  This is a scam

This is a telemarketing firm offering "free alarm systems" in my neighborhood.  The automated recording instructs you to press 1 to get a free alarm system installed in your home.  Caller ID lists "Protection Ctr."

Illegal ADT Robo-call offering a "free" alarm system. I wanted to know who it was - since soliciting calls to a cell phone are illegal, so I pressed  "1" to say I was interested.  It said thank you & hung up. I tried calling back, but it only offered a choice to be placed on a do-not-call list.  However, later in the day - I got the live follow-up call from ADT... so that's who is behind it.

Installing "free in home alarm systems". ROBOCALL.

I got 6 calls all in a row.  As soon as I answered one I was being buzzed in by another over and over and over again.  When I called back to see what was going on I got the "press 1 to block this number" crap.  Why would they ever think that someone in Houston Texas would want anything they have?  I hate inconsiderate businesses!

Why do they use my minutes this is a robo call, when called back got if you would like to be removed press 1........I hate robo calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called my cell phone a few minutes ago and left 4 blank voice mails and showed 3 missed calls from the same number. Didn't call back the number. Please don't call peoples cell phones like this and use their minutes for junk calls.

Called this morning.  It does show up as Kalamazoo, MI on caller ID.  I answered and they didn't say anything.  I had been getting calls like Burt C said from a different number previous weeks advertising sercurity services.  Maybe they are related or same company?

I got a call around 9:30 this morning, It was a home security service. Would there be anything wrong if i got them to come to the house and then video tape them and post it online.  Any thoughts on this?
