Same s***...

believe this to be a scam.  Texted me at 4am, wanting to buy my china. Told him the 'terms' were not acceptable, as they wanted me to accept a cashier's cheque.  I said no.  Cash and in person only.

I get calls from this a***ole that says I won a prize!!!

I received a text for a Trailer which is for sale on Craigs List.  Requested forwarding payment and would send someone to pick up.  Followed all the same  conversation as listed above:  Hello, Is this still available for sale? If yes get back to me immediately and my questions are: are you the first owner and what is your last asking price Thanks and hope to read from you soon"
Also stated: is on a ship in Catarsman.  Am extremely glad I checked # before going further!!

I just received 3 text messages from this # 281-346-3128. Definitely a SCAM. I have received numerous text from various numbers, but they all say the same thing--exactly.
"Hello, Is this still available for sale? If yes get back to me immediately and my questions are: are you the first owner and what is your last asking price Thanks and hope to read from you soon"

I asked her name..Anne she is on a ship in Catarsman.

Out of state reply to my car ad on Ocala Craigslist.  Fishy!  Not the first msg rec'd about being on a ship out of town and interested.

Received texts about car I had for sale on crags list..

i was also contacted by this number and they wanted my paypal account as soon as possable

Posted a car online and got a text at 1 AM asking for my info and stated he was on a ship and was very interested in my car. I think I may drag him out a bit just for fun and maybe it will slow him down a bit.

Got a text from 281 346 3128 regarding furniture I am selling, not sure why someone from out of state would inquire.. Knew that it was "fishy" and see that this same number is doing the same to others..

I too got a call and she said her name was anne mobbs? very insistant that I send my info but never called me said she lives on a boat for 6 months something sounds fishy. Said she wants to buy the items sight unseen and talks very formally too. Demands pay pal acct and email but not willing to talk about the pick up and stuff....not worried about getting the item just sending the money......i dont think so....so beware I think this is a scammer. oh by the way I googled the boat she said she is an engineer on and cant find any info on it.

Billy Bob, I too have a car for sale on craigslist and I too got a text from this number. Did your text say "Thank you for your text, I am satisfied with your asking price, and as am requesting that this transaction be should be done via PayPal..."

I have a car for sale on craigslist, I had a text message from this number, asking if it was still for sale. I did not call them back. Jan 5, 2013 @ 0709 hrs.
