Caller ID read "v91918070901370". I picked up the phone but, not surprisingly, there was no real person at the other end. There wasn't even a recording.

This number called today with an offer to extend a Playboy subscription by 36 months. Also offered were two trial subscriptions for other magazines. All for a low price of $2.xx per issue. I never trust over-the-phone billing.

I just had the same number call my house, same scenario-- answered the phone, no one on the line. Called back to a very strange messaging system that recited my phone number back to me.
