This is CSC Credit Services. Either you filed something with Equifax/CSC or you had applied for employment with them.

This is not a scam - this is a legit business and because all employees must pass a credit guideline you have to have your credit pulled early in the hiring process. You can drop off the release at the office if you feel more comfortable meeting the people and getting to see the facility - they let me do it. NOT a scam. Sounds like you lost out on a job, lol.

It is a legit number - it is a trunk line that all outbound calls come from in the Houston site. This is not a scam.

to work with credit, Equifax says you MUST meet a certain credit guideline yourself. this is not a scam - you just didn't do your homework and research the company enough.

Got a call from this number today around 3 pm. This has happened before with various other numbers. All bills are paid in full. Tried to call back and got the "You have reached a non working number" message. This has happened in the past with various other numbers. My iPhone called ID says it is a Texas number.

The caller was from CSC Credit Services in their Fraud Department although their outgoing number may be used by more than one department. They own/manage consumer credit reports for Equifax for parts of the US. I was expecting the call from them so it is a legit organization / number.
