we have been getting calls from this company since 2005 apparently for the person who had the number before us, i gave up trying to tell them we are not this person, i just don't answer anymore, once in awhile we get a voice message, always the same legal threats

Why do I suspect this place is more or less a scam. Blocking future calls.

Now if you get their address and successfully sue them for FDCPA violations, then I'd say you would be entitled to a whole crate of your favorite single malt scotch!

Can you believe this debt collection company?!  Talk about attitude let me tell ya they are full of it and if you show any back (like I did) you are deemed uncooperative and further legal action will be taken ...

So what brought me to their attention was a supposed "return check" ... well let me tell ya this is one thing I do not do however, now listen, however there is another person with the same name ... kind of but different middle initial.   Now he wrote out thousands of dollars of check, spent time in jail and so on and so forth.

Now check this out ... I went to point it out to them, told them I don't deal with this certain bank and never have, and was even nice enough to give them the case number of this said person.  Their answer ... I should pay it anyways ... imagine that me paying for someone else ... told them I don't think so and wow was she pist!  So now I am a very uncooperative, rude, and unacceptable person in life.  So do I deserve a beer for this?

same deal, nasty attitude, challenging, ignorant. They are dealing with the wrong person. Funny thing is, do we think this "corporation" reads these complaints?

Got a call for this number leaving threaten messages on my answer machine.They stated that I owe a payday loan off the internet that I never heard of or done before. They are picking the wrong person to run a scam on.

Have been receiving vague voice messages from this company for about 6 months. Today I answered the phone and was greeted by a woman who was demeaning and hostile. I asked who she was and what she wanted. She said she was Resolution Performance Group. I asked what that was. She responded "A corporation obviously". I asked what she wanted. She said she was trying to contact someone. I said I didn't know the person and I wanted RPG to stop calling my home. She then proceed to turn up the attitude. Telling me I needed to "drop the attitude" and let her speak to this person. I couldn't believe the unprofessional way this woman was speaking to me. She ended up hanging up on me. I called back and she hung up on me again. I called back a third time to make sure they would not call my number again and she immediately put me on hold. So, I called the Federal Trade Commission and filed a complaint. The FTC advised me to file a complaint with my State Attorney General's office as well. I would encourage others to do the same. File a complaint with the FTC and your State Attorney General's office. You should not have to be harassed in your own home.

have been receiving VM from this number.  Today received one stating that if I did not call (281) 661-8080 this number I would be served tomorrow at my residence or place of employment.  I would have to have 2 forms of ID and give my signature; and my supervisor or manager has to be present as a witness. WTFH?

This company is calling saying I owe a bill from 2006 claim I couldn't make payment arrangements and couldn't give information about anything like bank info or anything.

V/M left from RPG, pre-recorded message, "we have a pending matter in our office that directly concerns you, we would like to help you resolve this matter before further action becomes necssary. Please give us a call back 877-215-9182". Collection Agency.

rang twice, no message, came up as RPG on caller id
