Call several times a day asking for someone I don't know. Is very harassing.

This company is clandestine.  They repeatedly called the no. that belonged to the group house my son lives in.  Sometimes no one would say anything.  Finally, a person named Christina left a message for my son to call them.  Would not talk to the staff in his home as they had let them know my son was deaf and mentally challenged; couldn't talk to them.  Staff called me and I called this number 281-670-1572, and the person answering the main number would not so much as tell me what kind of company they were and would not talk to me though I identified myself and my relationship to the person's name they had.  Bad business, really bad business.  I learned they're some kind of debt collector that collects money for themselves.   My son doesn't owe any money.  How do I stop the calling?

We keep getting calls from this company also. We get left a message that is very robotic with a British accent and very hard to hear or understand telling us this is about a private matter and we have a debt that MUST be collected. We do not have any debts. None.
I called the number and was on hold for then minutes so hung up. Frankly, if someone wants my money I am not taking a person's word for it over the phone. I want a bill and a list of what this money is owed for.

I have been getting calls from this number 3 or 4 times a week. I have told them my number is new and I do not know who they are looking for, but apparently they have a learning disability because they keep calling.

I receive about 3-6 calls a day from this comany. They have several numbers and some come up as "FMA Alliance" and some come up as "FMA Enterprises". It is always a recording asking for some person who does not live here. I have pushed the appropriate number for the prompt for a person who is not associated with my number and it puts me on hold to wait for a live person to speak to me. Even though I do not feel I should have to be questioned by someone when it has nothing to do with me, I have spoke to them many times and told them, over and over, that I do not know that person. It DOES NOT STOP THEM, they still call multiple times every single day. This company is relentless, even if they are intruding on the wrong person. It is ridiculous....Some of their numbers are: 281.670.1529-FMA Enterprises; 281.670.1569-FMA Enterprises; 281.670.1607-FMA Alliance; 281.670.1576-FMA Enterprises. These are from yesterday alone.

This number had callede daily for months when I called of back they would not tell me the nature of the company only to say it is a receivable management company
I know who the person is there asking for but she has never lived here and I have no idea where she can be located I have asked many times to be removed from they're calling it I'm ready to file a telephone harassment lawsuits

I had his number as a missed call on my google voice. after searching the number and stumbling onto this page i decided to call back. it's a local number for me as I am in houston and I was surprise that someone actually answered. she proceeded to tell me that she didn't call me phone but would not say whether she was calling from a house or business. She kept asking for Tammy, someone I don't know nor have ever heard of. This is a scam. I cussed her out and she hung up.

Maybe this is all a scam, what if the FMA Alliance is actually a legit company with respectful people, but someone is masquerading as them stealing information from the real FMA Alliance and then scamming people and taking their SS#

Calls everyday

Under Texas penal code 42.07 (a) (4) causes the telephone of another to ring repeatedly or makes repeated telephone communications anonymously or in a manner reasonably likely to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, embarrass, or offend another;

first conviction a class B misdemeanor, subsequent convictions class A misdemeanors, ie $500 and/or up to 6 months in jail and $1000 and or up to 1 year in jail as fines.

Employee's are agents of the company and the company is responsible for their conduct so you can actually charge the company. They are located in Harris county TX

If calls are made over state lines it falls into the Fed's court, but they are allowed to call once every 3 days I believe, but you must give them a cease and desist notice first. Make sure you note the date time and whoever you talked too and also send a certified letter with return receipt requested. Only reason I kept my number is because my family has it and so do other businesses I deal with.

The message they left for me said it was a one time offer to settle my debt at 50% of the amount I owe to a major bank.  Just so happens that is my bank, with whom I am in good standing.  The bank denies a connection with FMA Alliance.

I used to be a supervisor for FMA and filinf a complaint with the FTC is not going to solve any problems. The best solution is to get one of the collectors on the phone and advise them that they have the wrong number and keep up with who you spoke with and what time because they record all calls.  If they call again and you feel that it is true harrassment then seek a good attorney because the attorney there in house will pull the recordings and go further.  They pay out quicker than going to court because of the amount that they would have to spend.  So if you are familiar with your laws then I advise you to get a good attorney...They are losing business anyways.....Good Luck

They were trying to get a hold of someone else

They left that person's name, account number, and the fact that they were trying to collect a debt on a voice mail message.

I just filed a complaint to the FTC about them.
We'll see what happens....

I keep getting phone calls that I attempted to answer at first, but no one was ever on the other end... I gave up answering & even changed my answer message on my cell & house phone. How they got my numbers, I'll never know...
I'm about to file a report for harrassment.

DUDE OMG they called my friend on the bus and i was like "yes my friend got a call from you guys and we would just like to know what this company is or what its about" and this ghetto lady comes on and goes "THIS IS A BUISSNESS NO TIME TO FOOL AROUND!!!" cuz they heard noises on the bus and im like "were not fooling around we just want to know what is this phone number?" and she keeps asking for my friends phone number and we just decided not to care and we both went "LOLOLOLOLOL" into the phone and we cut them off LOL.

I think we have recieved hospital bills from them here. Otherwise, I dont answer. They have no reason to have my number since my fiance and I are not married and he is the one with hospital bills.

Who's calling?

I've been getting these calls about once a day every day for the past week or so. They sometimes leave a message, sometimes not. I wouldn't mind except I have a prepaid cell phone plan so I waste minutes deleting their messages so they don't fill up my voicemail box.  It's mildly frustrating at this point but I'm not going to let it make me mad (that's what they want). They're just identity thieves masquerading as a collections agency.  A legitimate collection agency wouldn't conduct their business this way.  If they don't tell you at least whom they're collecting for, that's a big red flag right there.

I got a call from this 281-670-1540 this morning.  It is a Houston,TX number - local to me.  I called them to get them to quit.  They're FMA Alliance  a debt collector.  They are trying to contact the guy who had the phone number before me.  I've had this number for three years.  The lady who answered just absolutely had to get her questions answered her way - was I ____ or do I know ____.  The answer to both is no, and she said she would remove the number from their call list.  Gee, I hope so, but it usually takes at least three attempts to get them to quit.
