Caller keeps calling and hanging out! Please STOP!!!!

I have received 2calls from this 281-7416780 once three weeks ago with an Asian sounding women who Saudi won2500 dollars but could not understand what company she said she was from told her I don't trust her and don't believe her either and hung up.  Someone from this same number called today!!! Did not answer darn scammers

They called me today saying I won a $25,000 shopping spree, ugh I could barely understand what she was saying  but somehow I made out " Direct Buy" and I asked her where she got my number from and I had to so her 3 times to repeat and I believe she said "Assosiates" and then she asked how old I was and I said I was 16 and she got loud saying how I wasn't Eligable and I just tried to give her a hard time because I knew it was a scam. Pitiful.

You owe a past bill then expect time wasting calls from turds like this. Fact, you owe someone something and this is just their way of irritating you. If you become irritated then they win. Just don't accept their call; ignore it, don't pick up-reject it!
Thinks you people r a little nuts for having such an issue about some annoying turd calling you.
So what, someone calls your number, you don't know them then why bother answering?
Who cares who is on the other line! I reject all calls I do not know. If your not on my contact list then your not worth my time!

Appears this number is for Direct Buy here in Houston Tx, I have had a couple missed calls from them, I just called back to ask who has been calling me from this number, of course the lady told me I was a big winner $$$. Told her I was no interested

recieved call from 281-741-6780. Recording.... it was direct buy......said i won.... i hung up...

i got the same call from a mumbled company offering 25G's. I  ACTED vary excited and then they asked me my age. I told them that i was turning 7 next month (im 19) and that i was vary excited to win lots of money. They hung up. if anybody knows how i can get their number and give them a call back- i would love to tell them about the free cruise they won. :)

Received 2 calls today from this number on my cell.  Tried to call back,  Very aggravating as I am recuperating from major surgery and do not need problems like this,

got a call from this number i did not pick up and they did not leave a message...sounds like a scammer fishing for info.

I recieved a call from this 1(281)741-6780 two times in a row, they hung up on me. and i attempted to return it, "Not a working number"
(Please find out who this person is, and stop them in their tracks)

Got a call today - the company is called "Direct Buy" and he said my phone number was entered to win a $25000 shopping spree.  He's clearly sitting in the slums of Mumbai getting paid $.05 a day to scam Americans who are gullible enough to play....  Scumbags.

Don't bother to look for these scammers in Texas. ALL of these scammers use spoofed (false) numbers, so they can't be located and prosecuted. Many times they use a legitimate number of some innocent person or business who have nothing to do with the scam. Unfortunately many people that have nothing to do with the scam have been blamed.

I just recently moved to Houston , got a brand new phone , have gotten two suspecting phone calls 3 from the number "281-653-7116" the first week i had the phone , (tried to return the calls but yet no one answers)  Now today i get this one from this number "281-741-6780" seems to me its from the same source though two different phone numbers . After further research as to look into who's responsible, as i am interested in paying them personal visit, i find this post ..

As soon as i find out who it is , and a liable address they are surely going to get a very unwelcome and unpleasant visit from some known associates with lawyers on standby.

I received the same call today. But they didn't offer me a $25,000 they only offered mea 1,000 shopping spree from a mumbled company name. I asked her to repeat the name which she did, then I asked her again because I understood nothing! (By the way the lady sounded Asian) When I told them I really didn't like money or shopping, they said I was missing out in a 3 day get away. I told them not to worry that I've been away all year just look forward to being home with the family. The lady then said ok and hung up.

Was the caller's name Barry?

I received a call from this number today.  SUPRISE, my phone number was chosen to be a semi-finalist to win a $25000 shopping spree.  They did not know my name ad referred to me only as "ma'am."  Seems like a scam to me, I hung up quickly.

Both of you are incorrect! The scammers are neither Nigerians or Norwegians. The scammers are most likely Kenyans. We all know of a person, born in Kenya, who has been scamming the American people for more than 4 years!

I disagree with you--I think the scammers are Norwegians, not Nigerians! None of the people of the Scandinavian countries are to be trusted!

Picked up, they tried to claim I won $2500. Said they were affiliated with a mumbled company name, ignored my request for them to repeat the company name (twice!). I hung up promptly.

July 5th.  Same as above.  Received two calls from the number - no message and number is not valid. Are they able to get information off our phones if we call them back?

Same experience as others.

Received a call from that number, no one said anything. Tried to call back several times and after about 6 tries, a recording came on "this account number is not valid".
