I've gotten 8 calls in the last few weeks from TX GOP and "Out of area", same number. My Voicemail has a very short "leave a message" prompt and sometimes callers who are not paying attention or are using auto dialers miss it and think a real person has answered the phone.

This one was the funniest. "Hello...is anyone there? Amy,(someone who had my number before me) I'm calling for you. Are you there? Yooohoooo! Hellohellohello! Yooohooo! AAAYMEEEEE! Aw, hell."

I have Nomorobo, so I don't think it was a robocall or it would have been zapped, but it is annoying for them to just keep calling. I have now blocked them by my carrier (Verizon) so they can't ring me on the same number again.

Don't live in Texas any more, quit calling.

I received a call from the TX GOP.  I listened to their cry for money.  I told them I do not do business over the phone for donations.  I then attempted to look up this number and found these responses.  I saw the one that indicated that he called the number back and registered for the do not call list.

called five times on Saturday .Have saved to Block but still a nuscience.

I get 5-6 calls a day when I answer they hang up. I have started declining their calls.

I also have received calls from this number 2 or more times a day.  I returned the call and got a message that they are a Fund Raising company and they call for different organizations; to stop calls from them, press 0 and then enter my phone number, when that was completed they stated that my number would be removed from their list in 48 hours.  Let's see if that happens.

Called me yesterday, left no message - Caller ID says TX GOP, which is probably an automated message from the Texas Republican Party.

Probably calling about the US budget battles in Congress, or else they want money

This whole household is 100% voting Tea Party Republican, but I read the news, so I don't need that crap - They just need to vote to drastically cut spending and elimitate all corporate bailouts and Obamacare funding, or I'll vote for someone else who will next time. No need to aggravate people by sending out phone messages explaining themselves.

A Missouri retired police officer, as he described himself,  asked for a donation, I refused,  since I refused they call and hangup when the phone is picked up, four times so far
