Ms Simmons must have been fired, mine is also from Ms Hudson!

Got this just today in the mail, what an unprofessional way of doing business. I just can't believe people resort to this kind of tactic. I would NOW never call Rain Soft even if I were interested. Just send me a flyer or brochure.

Wow..I just got one too. This time is a Ms. Hudson.

Unprofessional way of doing business with a obscure postcard.  Never received a call and would never call Rain Soft for a water system.  

Received a poor quality postcard. No return address. 2nd notice to please call. I did not call. Instead
Looked up the number. ThAnks for informing all who this is from.  

Just so happens, I'm evaluating water softeners and installation costs. Maybe a blessing in disguise, for me anyway.

I got the same card but this time call Ms. Hudson. Different name still a scam.

I got the same notice today (March 2014). Try to tell all the older people you know so they don't get scammed!

Mar 2014 Recieved the same scam as well with the same verbiage.

I just got the same post card but it said to call Ms. Hudson! -Smells like scam!!

Received a "2nd Notice to Please Call Ms. Hudson"

The note reads "Recently, you received a notice explaining that we have been unable to contact you by phone and would appreciate a call. Please call within the next 3 days and ask for Ms. Hudson @ 281-955-3437 9 AM to 9 PM, 7 days a week."

This is a scam. Do not call the number. I feel terrible for the older residents in our neighborhood and hope they are not calling Ms. Hudson or any other name listed!

Yup a scam. Hitting up auburn lakes in spring.

Received a post card with this number on it, same overall message.  Except they are now using home depot logos, stating that they will give you a home depot gift card but that you cannot go to home depot to qualify...you must call the number.  SCAM.

I also got the green post card. Thanks for the posting, I won't be calling.

We received one as well, handwritten and all! I couldn't for the life of me figure who would be holding a gift for me so I searched this and thank goodness I did! Thanks for whoever started this post!

Thank goodness for google search!  Got a postcard in the mail today, and I won't be returning their call.  You know something is fishy when there's no return address and no indication of what the information references.

They are still sending the post cards and Mrs Simmons must still work there.

This lady is so annoying.  The local store I bought appliances from must have sold her my information because she knew that I purchased them.  Very persistent.  I made the mistake of scheduling an appointment with her without realizing that it was a scam.  Well, I called back to cancel the appointment and she kept insisting that I reschedule.  I didn't and am glad I cancelled.

I received one yesterday in the mail, hand written. We bought our home back in August so they are a little late! My card also says to call Ms. Simmons... will not be calling. I cannot STAND companies that try to bring people into scams such as these. Thank you everyone who has posted!

Same thing, Made the mistake of calling and a young lady was very persistant with calling me back non stop. They kept saying this is so and so from Mrs. Simmons office. Completely Bogus!

It looks like this tactic is still operating...only now they no longer address the postcards by hand.  I got two today.  Thanks for alerting so I wouldn't waste my time!!

Do Not call!  They want to do some scam water test.  They tell you they will give you a $20 gift card, but they dont!  Waste of time and they are a scam!!

June 2011 ~ got the exact same card with Ms. Simmons' name on it. I refused to call since the company wasn't identified and googled the phone number instead, landing me here to discover I'm not the only one to receive this. Definitely NOT calling the number.

This is Rain Soft, a water softener company trying to sell their systems.

I just got the same thing in the mail asking me to call Ms. Simmons at 281-955-3437 or 800-655-0905. It was also mailed from zip code 77065 (Houston) and the post card is green. The weird part is that it has my name and address handwritten on the front. I am not going to call the phone number. It definitely looks like a scam. There is no identifying info on the post card. Hopefully someone can put a stop to this scam.

Thank you for posting.  After making the mistake of calling, I felt like it was fishing for too much personal information.  So I did this search.  My post card was printed and asked to call Ms. Simmons.
