I received a 2 voicemails from Joe Hamilton stating he was going to serve me on friday at home or at work.No one showed up. He called me again, left a voicemail saying he called me on friday told me he was serving me today (Actually he called on thrusday, not friday). I check my husbands vm and in there he says he's serving me on tuesday. Well Which is it Mr. Hamilton? I am not afraid to go to court over a debt because I have not debt that isn't taken care of or is not in Good Standing on my report? Anyway, I filed a claim with the FTC, which has this company as a drop down option, and also with the attorney General. This is just a crap debt or old debt that they can't collect on. I am going to sent a certified letter with pictures and weight on the letter to tell them show me a bill... So if I have to go to court I at least know whose coming to my house to collect on it. These are stupid. I've been getting these types of phone calls for the last 2 years and no one shows up. Seriously DO IT, please so I can document and take a picture and prove to the courts the harassment I've been receiving. I got a call a few months ago from another guy who said he was at my house and no one answered the door the day prior and I had two trucks in the driveway. I don't know what house he went to but if he had to put a refusal down if I wasn't available, then why bother to call me the next day again. Just because I live in Texas doesn't mean I own trucks. This tactic should be illegal and they should not be allowed to call from a blocked number or private number.

Yes i received the same call. she has been calling me for 4 days now and leaving threatening voicemails but i laugh at them. they did tell me to call 844-373-7848 with a case number, never called. I know for sure its a scam. So there is nothing you guys should worry about

And just like last year guess what NO BODY showed up..... got the "you will be served today" phone call today Julie and the whole "company" can go shove there sealed legal document directly pertaining to me up there where the son don't shine.

got a second call today from "julie" she couldn't even get her story straight stumbling over words you can tell she is reading from a script....... I am amazed she can even read.  Where do they find these people morons trying to collect on a debt.  I told her the same thing happened last year and NO ONE showed up????? I told her to just go ahead and send them today I know this is a SCAM and hung up on me..... I was having fun.....I was kinda hoping she would used the " I going to send the police to your house to arrest you" tactic so i could have asked her the same question I asked the guy last year " should I pack a toothbrush and my favorite pillow and sleeping bag"  But i said the word scam to early....  I wonder if ill get the "we are coming to your house TODAY" call OH WELL.  If you talk to them have fun they cant hurt you and they get SO PISSED when you laugh in there ear.  You may get the " this is not funny" or "this is not a laughing matter SIR"  I say yeas it is cause your a moron and your not getting a dime out of me..... No, actually, people are being called when they don't owe money.  And REAL process servers NEVER call you ahead of time, nor do they tell you to call anyone!  We don't need to "take the effort to figure out" what you're about - you're nothing more than a pathetic shill for these scammers!

I received a call from this number I was hesitant about calling but I wanted to see what was going on it was about something that I owed that was on my credit report and they were helpful .... A lot of these comments from you people are just angry because someone is calling you out on your debt so instead of slandering there name take the effort to figure out what it is

I got that same kind of call from Randy Snyder. On the 29th that he was gonna serve between 1 & 2 but yet the call was recorded eat 1:46. I have debt, but I seriously doubt that you get a heads up. Those are unsuspecting visits. Keep us posted though.

got a call today from 281-498-8063 she called yesterday also and the day before, she wanted to know if i contacted the number she recently gave me 844-373-7848. i said no so she said that she will be coming to my home in 2 hours, i said ok see ya then. She then said that if she doesn't find me there she will then come to my job, she said i will need a id and my supervisor to be there as a witness. i said ok! she then hung up on me. We will see if she actually comes. i think this is bs, no one is going to call and let you know that they are coming. And when you are served papers there is no need for a supervisor or witness to be present. just a scare tactic to call that number and give bank information. I will check back later and let you guys know what happened.

I just received this call.. Did you get served? he gave me a number to call back

They called me today and left a voicemail for Margaret regarding a claim being filed against me. "I will have someone dispatched out to your residence or place of employment. If you have any questions regarding this matter, I do suggest you contact the filing party at 844-373-7848 and refer to case number 455370. Otherwise, Margaret, I will have someone dispatched out your way within the next 72 hours. You have been notified."

I don't know anyone named Margaret. If you got a similar message, this is a complete scam. Just ignore and move on.

They called me yesterday saying I'm being served tomorrow lets see between 12 to 3

I just received the same kind of message from a Jason Foster.  He states he would be serving me with papers on Tuesday between 11am-1pm.  

these scammers are relentless. Uggh!!!!

Thank you for this information.  They have been calling me relentlessly for some time now. I keep blocking their numbers. I did happen to talk to them once and they demanded that I make payment right then for a debt (payday loan) that I never had.  They were beligerant and rude.  I spoke with an attorney friend and he said the same things you did.  If you are going to be served with papers, no one ever calls you and tells you when they are going to be there.  Kinda defeats the purpose.  

I will rest easy now knowing that no one will be showing up at my house.  

I appreciate your feed back and hope that all of us that are threatened and victomized by these people, will get some relief and they will be stopped.

We go over this on this site constantly. No is EVER going to show up! Licensed & bonded process servers & deputy sheriffs deliver legal documents. Neither will EVER call ahead to let you know they're coming. EVER!
If some clown calls & claims to be a "process server", "courier" or some such, the caller is a scammer attempting to collect on an invalid, time-barred or purely bogus debt. There are NO exceptions. Another sure tip off is when a "process server" is happy to supply you with a "contact number" to call. Legitimate process servers do NOT deliver messages. They are paid to deliver legal documents. That's it!
Fraudulent and/or bogus debt collectors love to use intimidation tactics. They like to impersonate process servers, couriers, law enforcement & govt. officials. They like to use what they think is legal jargon. Anything to scare their target will be used. They hope that fear might soften up the "mark". To a person that is aware of their tricks, they're laughable. An occasional gullible person might fall for their lies. It's them that the vermin in fraudulent/bogus debt collection live off of. Sites like this one are making it harder on the scammers. People are learning.
Research & know your rights under the FDCPA. It's easy. Just Google it.

These people are so annoying and ignorant - they are coming to serve me papers on Tuesday from 12-3 and said the make myself available.  They are a bunch of idiots.

I just had a call from Randy Synder, advised he had papers for an appearecnce for me and would be coming to my home and work. No-one calls and says these things when they are going to serve you court papers
Normally a Deputy Sheriff will serve court papers.
It is against the law for a collector to falsly identify themselves in oder tio collect a debt.
