they keep calling me at my workplace, tell them to stop calling and they have called five times since being told.  How can you stop this nonsense?

So, if someone calls ME unsolicited can I ask for sexual favors without violating the statutes prohibiting obscene phone calls?

We had the same thing happen. It is ridiculous we could not call back either. Just kept saying we had to put area code with the number. Wish whom ever is doing it would stop it is a unnecessary situation.

3 calls today and when I pick up and say hello, no one answered. During one, all of a sudden there was a beep and an automated voice saying call is ended....and then it hung up...seriously? this is ridiculous...

I keep getting a call from the Education Network every hour. How did they get my number and how to stop them?

Every 30 minutes I get a call from this number, followed by a call from 801-444-1111.....just like clockwork. I too am on the Do Not Call list to no avail!!!!!!!

I got a phone call from this number and It was a man his voice sounded wierd and pushy like he was trying to talk like a little kid and he asked for me and said my name and then I asked who is this he hanged up and then I called back and it's says phone number invalid no longer in service. This actually scared me.

They have called me all day what the hell can I do they are driving me buts

I have been called by this number at least 6 times in the last 3 days.  Each time I answer there is a hang up.  When I try to call back to tell them not to call anymore the phone number is listed as out of service.

7 calls within 20 minutes. I finally answered and didn't hear anyone for a few moments. When the girl finally spoke she was rude.

Keeps calling me. Yesterday I got at least ten calls..and some were hang ups. The last time I told him to stop calling and just hung up. He was being very rude and asking me why I wanted him to stop calling...

This number is currently calling me too, luckily on Android phones it gives you the option to black list numbers.

That number been calling me all day and I finally answered ready to tell them off and this guy answered and was like "Hello how r u" I was told him I was not okay and asked who this was he said, " oh can you hold on I have to finish this video" and then stated singing I freaked out and hung up

I would like for everyone that gets this call try and find out what you can this is a real problem and crime. I see where a PERSON HAD THIS NUMBER 285-672-9034  THAT IS VERBATIM THE SAME NUMBER THAT IS CALLING ME

This number has called me 6 times this week!! No message left, so I don't know who it is.

Just got 7 calls in a town in less than 15 minutes. Two weeks ago I got a quick loan online that I already paid back but have also had numerous calls repeatedly from various numbers since that are also claiming I filled out for going back to college. I have a degree and never filled any such thing out! All I can think of is that the loan company sold my number and info.

This number has been calling my cell phone ALL DAY!!!!!!!  It's almost 8 p.m. and they're still calling!  Very, very annoying!

they just hang up when i answer. but they call every ten or so minutes. been doing this for days now. changing my number.

Alright, this number started calling me today, it has called me 16 times within about 4 hours.  After reading all of this, I finally answered the latest call, and they just said my name, I said "no, thats not me.."   And they instantly hung up on me.   I think I will answer next time and give them a run for their money so I can find out more info, I will report back!

I am getting this call on my cell phone and am registered to the Do Not Call Registry, I hope you can find out who this is and file a complaint... I looked up the area code and it is an "unassigned area code" ...I don't know how this can happen, but I sure hope you can get to the bottom of it!

I've gotten 8 phone calls on my home phone within the last 1 1/2 hours. All hangups. Researched to find a way to stop it. From the looks of it, no one knows how. Oh well. I just shut off my answering machine and ringer. If people need me, they can call my cell....Oh. Make that 9 calls, as I type this. :/ btw...it only rang 5 times before it stopped.

Your irate callers can't dial invalid area code 285 and are simply venting their anger at you. Long outgoing message on your answering machine explaining the difference between area code 285 and local exchange 285 and let the machine handle all calls you don't recognize? Call your phone company? Get a new number? Move? Just kidding, must be a real drag to have to deal with this, best of luck on getting it stopped.  :)
