The same thing just happened to me and I read all your post's, copied this link and emailed to him telling him not to contact me again or  I will go to the cops. If he bothers any one of us further I am willing to band together and file a complaint to the cops about it.

This same thing happened to me. I am now worried as he has my phone number and could find my location. This really worries me.

i just spent the last 2 days talking with Scott about him wanting to buy my car through paypall. we deleted our paypall account and told him we're waiting confirmation...im curious to see when he tells me that the money was sent

I got emails and messages from him too. Says his name is Scott Daily. He stopped replying when I sent him a link to this page telling him I was going to report him to the police

Received a similar text msg and email from Scott daily wanting to purchase vehicle. Wanted PayPal info....

I must concur with Parkwise's assessment:  I've a vehicle ad posted and received a text msg from this number (1 289 434 4057) requesting if still for sale.  His text included the EXACT extended title (wording, caps etc) from my kijiji ad.

This appears to be a scammer looking to Phish paypal passwords from online classified ads for vehicles.
Never sell a car by paypal!
