Easy way to get them to stop... answer the call. Answered after 2nd call in 1 wk - simple 5 min survey about recent visit to Wash Hospital Ctr. Decided to participate, maybe do some good. Could've sad no and hung up.

I answered this when it called my land line. It was a political poll. I answered the call, and the questions asked. Not a big deal - questions about local issues, like my opinion of school board candidates, and the county executive and potential candidates (all for Montgomery County MD). The caller had a thick hispanic accent so I had to ask her to repeat questions a few times. Nothing personal like name or SSN#.
