I am glad I looked this number up.....I almost fell for it.  They will not tell me who I owe only I have to pay or I am going to jail for a loan I took out years ago.  They will not tell who it is I "owe".  Thanks for all your comments.

Yes I agree. The lady said the same thing and was proposing that I pay half of the restitution through western union so I could avoid getting arrested the next day! Unbelievable...

I received several voice mails from Brianna Burke at this same number stating she is a Fraud Investigator.  I have no clue who these people are and have no intentions of calling them back.  I had several hang ups also from this area code!!  Leave me alone already!!!

I received the same call about 30 minutes ago saying I had taken a payday loan out on August 8, 2012 from First Cash Advance. This is ridiculous!

I received the same call from 301-864-7433. This is definitely a scam. The recorded message said it was Leslie from Financial Litigation Services. I talked to a guy who wanted to know if I'm being represented by an attorney on this matter and if I did have an attorney he wanted his contact information. He also gave me the fax # to send in the attorney's contact information Fax# 202-379-9750.

I could see how this could eventually scare people into sending money to make it go away.
But in my situation I never took out a pay day loan from 2 years ago as the caller was implying.

We should all stand together and prosecute these clowns wherever they are.

I got the same call; she said I was being sued over a payday loan from first cash advance and they out money in my account back in august of 2012. nothing never got money from them. she was quite rude and the number comes up as a construction business. Said I was having criminal charges filed against me for not paying this loan back. She had all my information. I told her I was a police officer and she hung up?

Don't call, the phone number is fraud.

Just got a call from this lady today. Complete scam and not calling back.

It's a b***s*** scam. Everyone should call them and jam their phones

After receiving three recorded calls within an hour from these numbers, 301-364-7433, 301-358-9348, 301-364-7433 called from this number 2X, I called back.  I spoke with a guy who said the company Baltimore Financial Investigations...he said the payday loan company is Everest.  I, like many of the people on this forum, have never had a loan with Everest.  After researching Everest Pay Day Loans and finding little info on the company, I called the 301-358-9348 number and asked the guy where the company is located.  He said in Nevis..it's an island in the Caribbean and not licensed to sell payday loans in most states, especially California...so, he removed my number and info from the database.  

I totally received the identical call. This is a scam pure and simple.

I just got a call to from the same people - Fraud Litiation Service. I know I did not commit fraud. I am also glad to see others reporting this. This is definitely a scam. Absolutely. 301-359-9348 is registered to Bowie/Bethesda Maryland. Somebody should call the police there and have them arrested.

I receive the call from 301-864-7433 but it left a different call back number. I spoke with Stacy would wanted to confirm my social security number and wanted the name and number for my attorney? I really wish these people would stop calling. It's really creepy that they have your information.

Received (2) calls from a Briana Brooks saying my phone number was involved some Fraud Investigation....makes no sense at all....seems fishy and not calling her back.

I got a call saying it was a fraud investigation... a pay day loan company everest cash was suing me for not paying the loan back NEVER received loan my account has been closed for 2 years I even called my old bank ro look into it NEVER RECEIEVED ANY OF IT... bunch of bs

I called back because I knew it wasnt for me, they took my number off their list, not professional at all

I got the same number calling saying it is about Fraud Services.  The voicemail doesn't sound very professional so I am not calling them back.

They told me my number was associated with fraud. But its only my backup number

Got a message for them to call me as well.  Message doesn't exactly appear legit, nor does thier voice mail greeting when you call them back.  I'm up to date on all bills, and have been doing so.  Not sure what this could be about.  Seems like BS

Based on info on this and other sites, it's a scam... possibly payday loan of which we've never had.  Blocking their number now.

Under investigation and saying charges are filed in your name it's a scam they keep changing phone number after I block them and they keep changing company's names saying charges are filed it's a scammmmm

INVESTIGATION...., i hung up. This is a scam or something. I googled the number and it came up scam with the last four numbers changing..

It's Financial Litigation Services.  They asked for the name and number of my attorney.
