The do not call system is a total joke. I get sometimes a dozen calls a day from businesses I have never been in touch with and have no relationship. I have reported some but have given up because the same jerks keep calling. Waste of time.

I have been receiving calls from this number for more than a month. Once I came to know it is coming from a call center somewhere and need my Gas account number so that I can save some money. I have recently registered with donotcall.gov. Hopefully, the caller will get the message.

This party calls DAILY, resulting in hanging up or dead air. Very annoying.

Received a call from 301-438-8653. Claimed to be with the gas company and wanted my account number. I gave him the run around and I asked for a call back number. The caller never gave me his number and stated he'd call back at a more convenient time.

Caller ID showed: MARYLAND
Received a call from 301-438-8653 but when I answered it there was no one there. Caller hung up, so I called back and got a recording saying the number was "no longer in service".
Go figure! (Twilight Zone, maybe??)

This number was on my caller ID three times yesterday. No message left. Annoying.
